100%. The main characters were Abed and Jeff, who the creator also said were both reflections of himself, hence also why they had the most significant relationship of the show.

Abed was the first person Jeff met and he changed him throughout the series. I don't know how, but I guess there's no neurotypical explanation for this.

People tend to misconstrue autism as only looking one, stereotypical way, which is why I really like Frankie’s inclusion in the 6th season. The same way that it’s never confirmed Abed is autistic (although it’s obviously heavily implied) I feel like Frankie is on the spectrum, but it presents differently due to her personality and interests. Representation should come in many different permutations, to prevent narrowly defining broad groups.

SAME! EXCEPT THE REVERSE! I was watching Community, then towards the end started Criminal Minds. Then I watched a Drunk History video, not knowing she was the host for the video. Then I was so surprised I googled her roles, saw Community, and saw who. Face blindness, I guess. Crazier though, is that in a brief period of time when I stopped watching Community, I started watching House MD. And then suddenly Shirley's actress was in one of the episodes as an extra, which made me continue Community.
