Nothing he said was truth especially was the reading part. You do not need God to pass, however you can ask for wisdom and understanding. The bible says in all your getting, get wisdom. How does wisdom come? From the word of God. what is wisdom? ability to judge right or wrong which means you first need to read and understand before you can be rightly inspired to pick the right answer. The ability to understand comes from God and not your poor. So you still have to pray the right prayer even as you study right. The bible also says because of the Holy Ghost we have SOUND MIND. So bcos an unbeliever has the gift of understanding doesn't make praying or asking God for help is wrong. You ask him for wisdom and understanding, not for answers to questions. If you do, your mind will be blown how your academics will improve. God pours the rain (gifts and blessings) upon both the saved and sinners (hoping the sinner will one day come to the knowledge of the truth). So the unbeliever is not smart by his own ability but the grace he received even though he or she has failed to acknowledge the grace of God in his life. Everybody wake up every morning by grace even the unbeliever even if you reject his grace, it's still there until you die then judgement. Abel Damina got it wrong, I will rather preach to glorify Jesus rather than technically say YOU DO NOT NEED JESUS FOR CERTAIN THINGS in the area of your weakness. I'm not weak to wear shoe or go to toilet, I can do those so why should I ask Jesus? What I don't have the ability I can ask the holyghost to help me while I put effort. The effort there is faith. The bible says study to show yourself approved, so you still need to read. one planted, one watered but who Gave the increase? GOD!! Don't remove the grace of God from anything even if you can do it. It's not actually your power. YOU SEE WHY PEOPLE SAY THIS MAN TEACHES FALSEHOOD?
