Better than chocolate. It was a pleasure to hear the good intonation. As well as the high musicality. It was like a reset for the ears. I particularly liked the man with the red beard. He sings so relaxed and wonderful

This is a great rendition of a romantic classic and the Gesualdo Six are a great find! But I would like to hear them singing some works by their namesake - trickier altogether and fiendishly difficult to pitch well!

The title means "song at evening". The words seem to be very similar to the English hymn "Abide with Me"--perhaps the German poem was the inspiration for the English verses?

Singing is very lovely but the fact that they only used 1 stereo mic meant 70% of the acoustic got lost, which is unfortunate...
