I am from India, I studied in RGU Aberdeen, I lived there for 5 years but I left the city for good in 2010, I literally cry every time i see Union Street George street all this places, I know I will never be back to Aberdeen again, This feeling hurts me, I wish good luck to all aberdonians.

this made me feel feel particularly nostalgic about my hometown, aberdeen has a rawness that other scottish cities are unable to capture, its got a feeling and i'm proud to be aberdonian.

I watch this video all the time, it's a very sad place Aberdeen, but i have some souvenirs there, and how time is flying,it's good to visit , but to live there it's very depressing, you visit the hall town in 1/2 hour, and it's cold, grey sky most of the days and seasons.

What a typical blinkered Aberdonian reply! Having lived and worked in Germany and Poland i did not experience the physical attacks on 'foreigners' that my family have whilst in Aberdeen. The area is at least 40 years behind times.

It's a lot larger than Aberdeen Washington, near the Pacific.

Footage at 0.35 is of Union Street, the main thoroughfare and shopping area of Aberdeen. It's an absolute joke, and closed wednesday afternoons as well.

ouch, it looks sadly rainy and depressive...

Can someone explain to me (American) why all the zig-zag lines on the road between lanes? I think it would make me nauseous! LOL But it must have a purpose, right? i just can't make out what it is.

Well no, mate there isn't - not towards the scottish, and any towards Asians or Blacks is quickly quashed by the authorities. I have a couple of very good scottish friends in Leeds. I have no scottish friends to speak of in Aberdeen. That alone speaks volumes.

yeah....as there's no racism in Leeds.....

I could tell you tales of anti-English sentiment in Aberdeen that would make your hair curl. It's a terrible place to live and work. If you're English.
