This is so cool! I actually think that the problem with the Fuecoco plush was ChatGPT, not your pokedex. I'm pretty sure ChatGPT's date cutoff is before the release of Scarlet and Violet, so it has no idea what any of the newer pokemon are. On the plus side, this means that your Pokedex works really well, it's just limited by the quality of ChatGPT's database. It should be able to accurately recognise anything up to Gen 7 and maybe some of the more popular Gen 8 Pokemon, but definitely not Gen 9.

You can also have the ai simulate 2 seperate personas (pokemon masters or proffessors in this case) and have them learn from eachother aswell as the internet. Then all you have to do is leave the program running for a couple weeks while checking in occasionally to input your own optimizations.

Very cool! I love your dedication. I'd like to see the same thing, but for real animals in real life! The advantages of playing pokedex with real animals is that they are more plentyful than Pokemon, and more varied, so you can play longer! In Pokemon there are 1025 species, which is A LOT. But on earth there is 8.7 million! Also they are more real, compared to Pokemon. That means you can see them with your eyes, as well as through the camera, and sometimes touch them. Another aspect is that the looking for them would be more of an adventure. You would need to know a bunch of stuff about eagles to be able to find one. Or you might need to explore a creepy basement to find the last spider on your list. The difficulty of finding rare poke.. animals is a bit higher, but I'm sure the effort will be a lot of fun 🌟
