In a war-ravaged world dominated by extreme ideologies, a devastating bio-engineered virus targets the female reproductive system. The virus, carried by all men causes a population decline and societal collapse. "The party" the largest surviving world power, implanted permanent metal devices on civilians' faces. Filtering their speech and controlling their consumption of resources. In the attempt to rebuild humanity, illness, starvation and public unrest leave 0.3% of the human population left to rot. Years later amid the ruins, a lone survivor navigates the wilderness. As one of the last survivors of a war-torn world, who is unaware of what the world once was.
Across the globe, few face a similar fate as nature erodes once-thriving cities. The series "The Three States of Matter" will capture the haunting journeys of the last men, living through the downfall of humanity.
