Excellent. What bothered me more than the wooden painted Hoverboard is a blacksmith (even if it is the Doc) repairing a DeLorean gas tank with a forge. DeLorean gas tanks are molded plastic. Your friend is right to not remember the murder of Marshal Strickland. This was the only scene cut from the third movie though it was filmed. Audience didn’t see this until the special edition was came out in 2002. Bob Gale explained why they cut this scene: “ nobody stays dead in Back of the Future.”

Listening to the outro, it seems from his self-description that Jon Olsen is an alias for a character who actually appeared in BTTF. Perhaps he witnessed bits and pieces of the saga, as he bears a suspicious resemblance to "Red", the one man whose life was the same in both the "good" 1985 and the "Rich Biff" 1985, except that he considered Marty a "crazy drunk driver" in one reality and a "crazy drunk pedestrian" in the other!

Enjoyable audio adaption of the book...thanks. Its surprising to hear the final return date programed into the time machine is October 17th ! Thats different to the date in the movie, October 27th ! ... a mistake ?
