Beef shanks would make a good variant of this dish, but really, it needs to be lamb!

I do follow some of the Ashpazi & they are pretty good, but was very disappointed with Abghoosht recipe. I never seen adding cilantro to abghost & the color of the abghost looks like ghorme sabzi. I am sure for some of you this meal might test good, but it's not real authentic Abghost, the one I grow up with in Iran.

Why are you adding one thing and cook, another thing and cook. Cook the meat, then add all else and cook at the same time. I think your potatoes are a mush now you cooked them too long...

It was all nice and accurate until CILANTRO was added! Please teach the original to the foreigners!!!! If they like it, Fine, but Abgoosht does NOT have greens! Adding all of that cilantro lead to a very different result!
