My beloved hymn. I love the harmony. It is so tranquil and profound. My father used to teach us these hymns. Every Sunday afternoon we used to join him around the organ.

Absolutely beautiful, the whole song. The words of verse 4 especially hit me, made me really cry. They resonate deeply. I fear God and love Jesus for what He's done for me, for all people. When I hear these words, I believe the writer (then) and I (now) must've felt very much alike.
