"Abigail" stars Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens, Kathyrn Newton, Kevan Durand, William Catlett, Angus Cloud, Alisha Weir, and Giancarlo Esposito.
Synopsis:
After a group of would-be criminals kidnap the 12-year-old ballerina daughter of a powerful underworld figure, all they have to do to collect a $50 million ransom is watch the girl overnight. In an isolated mansion, the captors start to dwindle, one by one, and they discover, to their mounting horror, that they're locked inside with no normal little girl.

Alisha Weir was absolutely excellent as a vampire. Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens and Kathryn Newton also great standouts in this movie. Angus Could was good in his final acting role. Kevin Durand is an impressive actor who deserves bigger roles. I’m excited to see him play the villain in the new Apes movie. He should be cast as Elon Musk in a biopic because of the striking resemblance. I think Kevin can definitely nailed that role. A24 and Darren Aronofsky are currently working on one.

Kevin's one of those actors who's been around for a LONG time but always in supporting roles. He was one of the highlights of the otherwise dire Wolverine Origins movie where he played Blob.

This movie was so BLOODY FUN! The actress of Abigail was insanely good and the movie was so funny. I has an absolute blast with it and cannot wait to watch it again. Going to be apart of my halloween viewing for years to come for sure.

In the UK instead of an 'R' rating, movies here are either a '15' or an '18', signifying how old you have to be to see the movie. This movie was rated an 18 here and deservedly so. I cant remember the last time I saw this much blood, it was glorious!

I thought this movie was awesome. Probably my favorite horror flick so far this year. It gave me 'Would You Rather' vibes, i loved Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens is the best, my 2nd fav movie seeing Kat Newton in this year (Lisa Frankenstein), and RIP Angus Cloud. Also enjoyed the little girl and Eric Durand

This movie was so outlandishly funny and entertaining that it's my fav movie of the year. It's definitely my fav vampire movie now. And the dance scenes were so damn hilarious. I'm wondering if this movie takes place in the same universe as Ready Or Not, because the exploding bodies effects looked ECACTLY like in Ready Or Not. I expect and hope the next monster movie Universal does involves werewolves. 😏

@@TheMovieCouple a word of warning, while her performance in Matilda is excellent the songs WILL get stuck in your brain. Tim Mincham can craft a catchy tune just as well as Lin Manual Miranda.
