I’m 49 years old. I’ve been dealing with heavy menstrual cycles. I bleed a lot with big clots, painful cramps, my whole body aches. This is a nightmare. I've become anemic due to heavy bleeding. I'm sick of my life and these heavy menses keep me from doing every day chores. I've almost died once becuz of this and now Im sure I need it. Wish we had such procedures in Pakistan.

I've been dealing with this for about 3 years I also thought I just had to deal with it but I decided to tell the doctor and hopefully it's something we can get corrected so glad I found out about this procedure.

I woke after mine like I was on fire inside. They had to pack ice under my arms and groin . It took three days to get my temp back to normal . Saying that I highly recommend it . I’ve never looked back

I'm 45 and within the last 5 years or so, my periods have become unbearable. I can only wear a super tampon for 1 to 2 hours at most with leaking and extreme cramping. I get a lot of anxiety anticipating it and it has become very irregular. I know i am in perimenopause, but it's becoming unbearable. I can't leave the house. I am dizzy and nauseous. It used to be 3 days and now it's between 6 and 7 days. I came across a video talking about ablation and I'm going to beg for it from my gyno. Please lord 😅

Can you get the procedure done twice of u start bleeding again if not why?

I unfortunately might be considering this. I will not be able to have any children due to my health. I've been iron deficient and severely anemic for years and looking for relief. I also hemroids which doesn't help. Heavy periods are genetic, but I have had an iud for years. I do have a blood clotting disorder and on Eliquis so that doesn't help either. For my body to be able to catch up with iron infusions I need these things treated and removed. We will see.
