I've never been able to use automation due to the lack of accessibility. Ableton is really making things better for "the rest of us". The streetch FX in Drum Sampler is taking most of my time now... so fun (;

thanks for the info. on a side note if you wanna fix that banding thats happening in the video turn on synchro scan for shutter speed so you can match it to the same frequency of the lighting in your shot.

Before I updated Ableton from 12 to 12.1, I could zoom in on a long sample anywhere using the magnifying glass tool. Now, after the update, I can't seem to do that anymore. It's making it a lot harder to chop up samples. Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it?

Hi Brother. How do you automate the breakpoints with enter and the arrows? I've got the newest version installed and I can't make it do that. Pressing enter does nothing in the automation lane. Am I missing something? Hope not, cause I've been hoping for this feature for years! Best, -E

Never thought of that! ADSR might be a little different than what you can do with drum sampler - also the effects are pretty cool. I dig it for one shots

Hopefully, they add stems soon because It would be insane with simpler. Studio One 7 and Logic have added this ability.

That would be great. some intergration of AI would be lit also. BTW you can actually link stem extractors directly with Ableton

@@lowendcandy I use Serato sample and rip x but Studio one has a way to seamlessly integrate rip x in the DAW because studio one supports ARA Extension. That’s probably another feature ableton can add ARA Extension integration.

Try the B.I.P. M4L device (bounce in place)..... Failing that; you've always been able to export as stems......

looks like the competition wakes up the sleeping spirit of AL development team .. glade they incorporated a lot of M4 L developers ideas like f.e. the clip midi tools & other midi enhancements. The new audio devices I like the most.. f.e. the now inbuild crusty crunchy feedback / audiosignal mangler/shaper stuff.

UNDO HISTORY?!?

Actually Ableton always had an undo history because it records every action. That's why Ableton is able to restore projects after a program crash. It just loads the last saved state and runs the history in the background. New is a history browser where you can jump to a specific action.
