Unfortunately she got on heroin, and after a yr of being clean. She done her same dosage that was stronger than before and it killed her. I watched the Autopsy report, it kills me because she was and still is the best voice of any woman singing today.

Beautiful! This performance gives me goose bumps! Janis was such a beautiful person and so real! That’s what makes this performance so beautiful; no pretension, no trying to please anyone, and not trying to imitate anyone but her own self and her emotions! I think that Janis Joplin still appeal to so many people, including the youngest generations because she is such an explosion of youth and lust for life and this kind of attitude will appeal forever to all new generations. Also, the musicians were very professional, I think they did not get the credit they deserved.
