I really like the front!! I just find the back looking kinda tight. Too many posts in there, a single glass panel or one each side would have been enough

I agree that the glass panels were not the best choice to create privacy. They chop up the space too much. The stonework and plant selection are beautiful. Love most of your designs.

Front: form follows function. Nice job. Attractive, useful, if quite extravagant. Back: function follows form. It's silly. That will not age well, nor does it start well.

I really wish they would have given a good view of the entire front yard from the street after the makeover. We either see the green area or the view from the parking area. Why not show the whole thing? Especially since they said it now has curb appeal, we need to see this. Each side looks interesting, but we need to know how they work together, and we never get to see this. And I agree with other comments saying the panels in back are a mistake. Very odd. Squishing a tree inbetween 2 of them is even odder.

Agree with all points. They never show the yards in one glance, nor does the camera stay on the visuals for enough seconds to take the view in and appreciate. Not to mention the band in the background messes up in your head all the time trying to filter it out just to listen to the discussions. Great work great show with far less competent sound and visuals.

The glass panels in the back of the house really reduce the space. A bit disappointed with the final result.

Agreed. Two screens instead of four would have worked much better.

You guys took the backyard, and turned it into office cubicles. The kids don't have the backyard to play in, anymore. I think y'all could've done better.

Lmao people who comment on these videos saying they need a better videographer but don't catch on that they take photos with digital cameras, they have Blackberry cellphones, and their Apple products look nothing like Apple products of today... This show was on HGTV ten years ago. Yea they'll go back a decade and get a new videographer for ya bud lol🤦‍♀️

After watching a few of these, you know how every project will look: circular paving and glass screens. In this case, they really chop up the space and it isn't clear that they actually add privacy.

Love the front semicircle design with the stone wall and the brick insert. Brilliant. I am surprised the homeowner considers it bold, compared to the screens in the back. Too many glass panels chopping it up for my taste, and no real consideration for the kids' to have a play space. And, maybe less is more with some of the frat-boy humour...

I don't understand the point of the glass panels... Will they be removed once the trees are big? The trees seem to be planted too close from each others and they are hidden in between the panels... I'm missing something with this landscape...

Got dizzy from the rapid screen changes, and all the talk amongst the designers. The fellows kept taking shots of each other for no apparent reason. Half way thru episode and still varied sections of dirt. So disappointed with Abode.

Why so many negative comments? The arch was used to break up all the straight lines and it worked. They bought a house that had a small long backyard and the design again breaks the length. I think it is magnificent and the family will love it.
