Latex paint over oil paint does not stick. You have to use a sealer of some sort first or sand it all down first. But old houses have leaded paint so you have to take serious precautions.

Ugh. No accounting for taste, even if that stuff was leftover from her aunt & uncle. Ugly + clutter = scary! Was definitely not conducive to making the most money for her new life in NYC! Thank goodness for makeovers! 👍 Great result!
