I LOVE the purple, just not on walls in a home! Flowers like iris wear it well, and maybe your new Tesla or even an accent vase (small) in your home, just NOT entire walls. This was a fun re-do. Love the results.

I absolutely loved this house as it originally was. The whole design was amazing and unique. Pity it needed a change to sell!

I personally love that purple. Not crazy about the disco ball, or the fireplace trim, but I like the dark wood.

I would’ve made them a lower offer and redecorated it myself. Not everyone likes white or beige either.

Indeed. But it’s much easier to paint over white or beige than it is to paint over dark or bright colors.

Amazing transformation! I don't care for the black trim throughout .... but with the walls being freshly painted completing the personalization / re-finishing is less daunting. The sweet wife appreciated the more feminine touches and hubby was open to new ideas. win, win, win

I agree that there is too much black trim left, especially since the staircase is black. However, it is difficult to cover black, requiring more coats of paint, and so they probably did not have enough time to change all of that.

Amazing that she's constantly painting real wood trim (even vintage or antique) but the horrid black trim, she leaves and keeps the dingy factor going.

I think if they paint the black trim white it will sell. And take the blinds down, rely only on the curtains.

Wheeeeerrrre do they get the people who go to the first open house. It's like they dragged them in off the street (or off the casting couch). Why would someone take time to go to an open house without viewing a single photo of the property first? How is it possible the wall colour is a surprise?

Liked the fireplace the eating table,( the rug underneath was ugly)..liked the white dresser .that's all they needed to change.wouldhave left that brick black and painted the walls in the bedroom.kinda liked the purple in the living room and the sectional..and the lamps in the master bedroom were fabulous..were great before ..the shades they put on were boring and made the lamps ugly and the 39 dollar lighting fixture was way to small for the space..needed something else. And curtains for the bedroom windows
