Rape is one of the most traumatic things a person can go through. I don't know how men can do this to women and think it's light. It literally messes up your whole life. I pray against the demon of rape that overtakes men
@Naughtorious3 жыл бұрын
I don’t think it’s a demon. Saying it’s a demon makes them unaccountable for their actions. Men are fully aware of what they are doing when they rape a girl, there’s no demon.

I too have been a victim of rape from 8years. Later again at 16. Got depressed and tried committing suicide twice both unsuccessful and landed in hospital. To keep it short its hard being a victim, this thing affects your mental stability and reasoning. I've longed for sexual relationships from a young age due to all the trauma. But God has been with me since. I'm grateful I'm still alive even after giving up twice! This is my third chance and I'm gonna make it count! Don't allow yourself to fall and never get up. We are all bound to fall,pick yourself up

This is why fathers are IMPORTANT
@ziqqynkosi68243 жыл бұрын
All I'm hearing is a young woman who tried her best to replace the void of a father, surrounding herself with men who kept violating her. We never consider the impact of the feeling and reality of abandonment that children go through when they lose their fathers through divorce: especially the girl child. If her father was in her life, protecting her, providing for her, praising her, she would've felt secure and validated of her worth, not needing to be popular, not needing to be be surrounded by guy "friends", comfortable in her femininity and knowing what love and care from a man looks like. I'm proud of her for finding healing. Not many women who go through what she's been through come out of it being better people. As men we should be safe spaces for girls and women and not exploiters of them. Women should be able to rely on us and not be seduced into independence from us out of fear that we will damage them. I pray that women will begin to attract good men in their lives, men who will stay and build strong stable families with them; that they are able to avoid being victimized by those who rope them in with lavish lifestyles that give the false impression of security.

You went through the most-est. As a man I’ve always been a “softie”… you’re story just confirmed what I’ve always believed. Many many girls lose their virginity to rape. It’s a culture. “When she says no, she actually means yes!” Thats township culture. How older men teach young men how to “requisition” sex. I’m so sorry. I really hope you heal. It’s going to be a journey.. not a destination. My boys will never do that because their father was an empath at the right time. Men need to watch how they speak about gender roles and sexuality. I’ve raised mine well. I was raised well. Thank you mother!

That's so true. I myself got raped by a senior student who I attended English 1 with at Varsity. He raped me, as a "punishment", because I refused an invite to his room earlier on. He came, at night, to my room with his other friend, found me talking to my roommate and another guy I knew from High school. They asked to talk to me outside. When were out of the reception area, they carried me together. When we got to the guy's room, I was forced inside. He put a sable on his study desk and told me that, I must not dare disrespect him as he would use that sable if I did. He was a heavy man, very dark in completion and spoke deep Zulu. His strong breath smell of cigarette, I can still smell as I am writing here. He raped me and was enjoying herself whilst tears were running down my cheeks, until I couldn't cry no more. When he was done with me, it was early hours of the morning. He took me back to my residence, told me he would kill me if I ever say anything about what happened. Funny how your story just reminded me of that fateful Friday in 1988. That was before this democratic government and it was noisy as there were riots with students demonstrating the dissatisfaction with Bantustan governments. I was 16 years old and on my first year at Varsity.

Rape is spiritual, and attracts demons and unclean spirits. Rape attracts more rape, I don't know any person who has been raped once, its usually a couple of times. I hope these perpetrators are suffering the consequences of their actions because 'you reap what you sow' This is such a depressing story but I admire this lady, she has a good heart and very strong.
