I have had mine 18 months, 8 call-out, new motor! Batteries replaced twice! Folding arm adjusted! Rail needed attention, sadly trying for refund and removal, not as good as they claim ! At 75 and with deteriorating physical health I need a reliable stairlift! In my case not a stannah, I expected at least. 6 years trouble free use ! At the very least I expected a complete replacement , regards John clipston peterborough

There’d s company called Bruno who make stairlift but I don’t know if there only in America but it’s worth a look It could help.

Buyer beware. There is no self servicing a Stannah product. Once installed in your house it can only be moved by a Stannah technician. Each removal and reinstall will cost at least $600. If you want a permanent addition to your house, fine. Personally I loath the *#!>*& thing.
