The Beigleitpanzer definitely isn't underrated by any stretch of the imagination. At its BR bracket, you will see it often, sometimes they don't even leave the spawn and just wait for enemy air to swat out of the sky. There are definitely more underrated vehicles, the Beigleitpanzer isn't one of them. Most of the vehicles mentioned in this video are anything but underrated. The Object 685 is the only one which I barely ever see.

The arl 44 is an absolute monster because you can upper front plate panthers at like 2 km and it is very hard to pen the turret if it's constantly moving while also being very good at angling

Japan's hidden gem, The ST-A 3. 90mm 320mm pen HEAT-FS, various ammo choices, auto-loader, optical range finder, M2 .50 cal, great optic sight for close and medium range, good mobility, good BR. Excellent medium tank.

I highly recommend the AMX 50 surbaissé. This thing with the new br changes is such a monster. Rare are the battles above 8.0, common are the down tiers down to 6.7, and common are the Nukes I get with it. Also the lineup is exceptional with the surbaissé, the Lorraine 40t, the amx13-90, the barougan, the f84g, the first heli just but also, the amx50 toa 100, the char 25t, and other lower br tanks. This lineup is literally the equivalent of Russian top tier, as you can keep spawning tanks and planes like candies. The only downside to this lineup is the lack of anti air and the oscillating turret vehicles being pretty much useless at killing anything flying.

the best line up for 7.7 france is: Surbaissé, Lorraine, Char25, Foch, Auf1 (if you have it spaded), aml-90 (i dont really like the amx-13-90) and amx-50 toa 100, if you want the ebr (the tech tree one) is good to, fast, mobile and has a decent gun for flanking (i literally got a nuke with only the ebr lol)

For me, the sk105a2 is perfect sniper. 4 sec reload, gen3 thermals, decent pen (346 for 0 degree and 200 for angled plates)and 12 ready rack can get you some multi kills. I haven't played the type 10s but i can tell you it feels much better than it.

Sea harrier frs1 is so underrated though the mid flight performance is bad it has 4 9ls and 5 1000lb bombs it can carry aswell as them it can great acceleration and good top speed

Vickers Mk.7, decent reload (but only 3 rnd 1st stage ammo storage) fast, decently armored, good rounds. It's such a shame that I've never seen anyone really talk about it or make videos on it anymore

The ikv 103 is pretty underrated. It has 105 HEAT-FS that can pierce 400mm OF ARMOR AT 4.0. It's also fast and small, which is good for sniping or ambushing. It's still good even in an uptier. The downside is, its armor is pretty weak. And because your shell is HEAT, you're gonna face a problem when your target is behind a fence. And, you don't have MG to clear the fence Edit: I think they nerfed its speed in Sons of atilla.

The only tanks here that are underrated are the STRV 103 and the ARL 44 imo. The others are well known and used heavily in my experience, very common to see a whole team of BTR 80s, beagles or 685s. The 103s and ARL 44 are often called bad by most people, the other 3 aint. In my view 1 of the most underrated tanks in WT is the Ratel 90 or 20, most people go "ew ratel" but they are really good vehicles these days.

the Begleitpanzer gets played alot. heck the last month on thunderskill its been one of the top performing german vehicles even above the puma. I think what might be making it slightly less common is the puma (10) is blocking that line for a 9.3 tank. the mixed playstyle that requires that people might now how to play the game to get a handle on being a weird multirole tank (IFV, SPAA, and ATGM sniper) that doesn't do anything amazing. It can be an IFV but loses to its fellow IFVs as it has a single TOW/ITOW vs Bradley M3A3 that gets TOW2 and 2 of them (or if lucky a downtier vs a M3 bradley that still is comparable with 2 TOW ) , BMP-3 gets a beam riding with better range and pen as well as the BMP-2M that gets 4 beam riding more range and pen. GB doesn't have a same BR equivalent. Japan has the TYPE 89, Haven't played it but the Type 79 ATGM seems good and I heard its a good little scout/sniper. Italy has the triple threat of the Dardo, VCC-80/30, and Freccia, double TOW2s and the later 2 SPIKEs. Sweden has a couple of 9040s (the 9030 seems bad at 9.3 and probably the worst IFV though you can be funny if you get a good flank) in the same BR but they have pretty good darts and the BILL trades the better darts for a really good ATGM and only slightly hampered by its clip size. It is just a better Begleitpanzer imo. SPAA wise its decent. you're not really going to be sniping planes much but the 57 carries 765g of explosives at decent velocities that shreds low planes and helicopters. I think it might be easier with the CV9040s but haven't played them too much and the other IFVs don't compete with that explosive load and ROF. ATGM sniping is pretty decent. you don't get to fire as quick or as easily as your counterparts but the layout means you can hull down and try to cover or lose your commander and survive for a while. The ITOW is usable but not as great as TOW2s and other ATGMs in your bracket range. the 9.3br also doesn't help it much tbh. you get your BR but typically half teams or you get full teams but uptiered. I think i got 3-4 downtiers out of the 140 games I've played with it in the last 2 weeks. it's not terrible and I think its BR range isn't bad even if its a little too high (i would say 9 would be good for it but that also doesn't exist and 8.7 might be a little too low) While researching and writing this I learned how the PUMA really deserves its SPIKEs even if it makes it a different variant that is 11. at 10 BR its mediocre as a gun only IFV. but i heard it caused havoc in the past when it was lower

I dont find the BTR-80 and the Begleitpanzer underrated, they are commonly used in their BRs asides, the BTR is a fairly new addition If you want to some underrated tanks that would be for example the Chi-Ri II, the 75/34 M43 Semovente, the Su-122-54 For example, for the Chi-Ri II, being a japanese tank, is already underrated for being in japan and are rare to come by, the Chi-Ri is an oversized tank inspired by the Tiger I and with a 75mm whose shell doesnt like angles, it has a good performance and a loader asistant that can make you shoot in 3-4 seconds in the first 3 shots. The armour is 75mm which is not great at that BR and is flat Mobility is average, a bit better than the rest of the japanese tree and you have a 37mm in the hull for baiting and such. The size makes hiding not as viable but it follows the example of the ARL-44 mentioned, is big, not the greatest armour but the gun is great and the RoF is awesome Then for the 75/34 M43 semovente. I will mention 2 of them, this one, it has the short 75mm but with spaced armour that goes up to a 100mm in 3.3, Which is a lot tbh. everything is pretty average, low profile, great azimuth for the guns and you get same gun of the P40. Now as the second semovente mention is the large cannon one, the 75/46 M43 which is a direct evolution, you get the same hull with a high perfomance gun but what makes this tank so overlooked is the BR, 4.7 which you dont take adventage of the armour anymore and the gun isnt the best but still kicks Look at it as an over BR stug III G and the Su-122-54i s a potential flanker due to its mobility with very decent reload on the 122, good shells, armour able to stop rounds at that BR which is very trolly, has a range finder and x2 14.5mm one coaxial and other anti-air mount, as well as low profile. I also want to mention the armour is 100mm angled, which is esentially like shooting at a T-54 frontal plate at 6.7, the frontal plate of the T-54 is already strong at 7.7 so thats that

I just got the amx 13. Got on a 7.7 br match (it is a 6.7 br) and got 4 kills, died to cas at the last second and took a beating, even surviving a german heat launcher. Really fun and has an autoloader.

By far the most underrated vehicle has to be the Ratel 90. It’s fast so can get into position quickly. It’s stable (unlike the Eland) so you can stop and shoot quickly or even shoot on the move sometimes. It’s at 6.0 so you’ll be facing tigers and panthers all the time which are so easy to 1-shot by ammo-racking. It’s got a relatively small turret and good depression so you can play hull down effectively. It’s pretty much the perfect tank. The only real downside is the armour but that drawback and be negated with cleaver angling to bait a bad shot into the rear end. Tbh if you’re getting hit, you’ve already done something wrong.

I would probably have to respectfully disagree - it's at 6.0 with a gun found on a 7.0 light for a reason and it isn't a good one. The gun being 'stable' is at least from my experience a joke, and for a light tank its gun handling is downright abysmal with a lacking turret speed and horrible acceleration. 14HP/ton really isn't great and it somehow feels even worse for the Ratels, probably because they're supposed to fill the role of a light tank ingame but struggle far too much compared to its competition. The gun works but even on the AML/Eland it's considered lacking with subpar spall and against more spacious WWII tanks it just doesn't fare as well as it would in theory, and if I wanted something consistent I would frankly just take out the Centurion Mk.2 or something.

I also think the Ratel is good and I am reasonably successful with the 90mm. However I think the reason why it isn’t liked so much by others is because you have to play more passive than other light tanks.

@jacobphotonstein3578 I by no means imply the gun isn't usable by the way, it's still an ok gun but isn't *as* successful as some of its other 90-105mm contemporaries are which can be considered a negative. My problem with it is that for a light tank it really struggles to be a light tank in the same vein the PT-76B struggles to fill that role - it's far too slow in acceleration and general speed to fulfill what it's meant to do and the turret slew speed etc also aren't good enough to compensate for said downsides either - so I just never saw the point of it over other vehicles around the same BR for Britain unless I absolutely had to. Edit: The 76B also has a stabilizer, which the Ratel 90 also lacks, and with that slew rate it is frankly not in the "stable handling" category

@@stellasolaris I think fundamentally you’re approaching it wrong. A tiger II and a tortoise are both 6.7 heavy tanks but if you try to play one like the other you’ll have a bad time. Concerning the mobility, is wheeled so you should be sticking to roads when possible but even off them you’ll still be faster that any heavy and definitely fast enough to get into a good position. Regarding the turret traverse, I’ve never thought once that its slow. If your in a situation where you have to look very quickly from one direction to the other, then you’re most likely out of position. As for the gun, it’s obviously no point and click APHE but it will pen literally anything at a br where armour is king and people think they’re invincible. You’ll be fighting Germany almost every game so all you have to do is either shoot the sides where the ammo is if you’re in cover or shoot the breech if you aren’t. Since it’s HEAT-FS, if you hit the ammo it will 1-shot consistently. You may find Russian tanks a bit harder they’re so packed inside that you can often 1-shot just be taking out enough crew.

@@stellasolaris if you’re comparing to the eland directly, then the main difference is the eland is hopelessly unstable and wobbles all over the place so you really have to be dead still before you can even think about shooting. The eland is also much less survivable since almost the entire tank is just crew. Occasionally you’ll get a lucky shot into the gun or wheel but that’s it. It’s also very underpowered being unable to climb many hills anything else could climb. Before the ratel was added I generally considered replacing the eland with the Daimler in my lineup. Now the ratel is here it’s just obsolete. I also can’t stress enough how uptierable the ratel is thanks to the gun. So long as you don’t play it mindlessly, it’ll work all the way up to the first rooikat when you get a proper stabiliser on a light tank. Trust me mate, I’ve played over 400 games in it and got more kills than with any other tank. It’s one of the best tanks br for br in the game.

Ho Ri Production is also very good and paired with the M47 and SUB-II-I for a nice 7.3 lineup. 1100hp and getting to its top speed of 25mph easily plus the mobility while traversing is nice, and a 8.6sec aced reload for its 105mm

Jpz 4-5 I loved this thing from the first time I saw it. Stock grind is AAAAAAA but once it's spared this thing is amazing. Especially for its br. Pros -good depression -good heatfs which has enough velocity for it to be shot over ledges without exposing yourself too much -INCREDIBLE mobility -short, therefore easy to conceal -pretty good reload Cons -no armour -no turret, casemate tank -incredibly painful stock grind -not good for urban combat

My choice is the japanese Ho-I. It is esentially a Chi-Nu at 2.0, so it's armor can work sometimes. The gun is very intersting. It has an APHE with 460g of TNT in it, this means it will always 1shot even a Char 2c. The pen is only 43mm, but at 2.0 it is enough for the most part. If it isn't enough, it has a 90mm pen HEAT too. And lastly, it has a HE with 12mm of pen. This means you can overpressure any Panzer III or IV if you shoot at the turret roof. On top of that, it is fast, and has 15 degrees of gundep. Basically a monster tank.

My favorite tank in the entirety of War Thunder has to be the VBC (PT2) in the Italian tech tree. Fully stabilized 90mm pen APFSDS slinging speed demon with thermals and great sights. It is also oddly survivable because of Centauro syndrome, the UFP tends to bounce a lot of shots, and the tiny turret does not spall, usually only taking out 1 of the 3 crew members. This thing is so rare because almost nobody plays the Italian tech tree. I deeply recommend it, it has some great low tier lineups, and amazing high-tier lineups, it is only a bit sparse in the middle tiers. Aircraft in it are wonderful for Air RB, but there are not a lot of CAS options.

outside of begel, all of those tanks are NOT underrated, they ARE TRASH... are you trying to change the stats of those tanks by pushing it to newbies that know no better so those tanks get lower winrate and thus lower BR (because of the influx of newbies from this video playing them) so you can abuse those tanks in your YT videos ??? to me it seems like it like for example who the f would play wedge (strv) ?? .. if you dont plan to sit at 1 place the whole game its useless, and even then the bouncines and slugishnes of the still unfixed aiming makes it near unplayabale wobly garbage, any tank on move aims quicker and is more stabilized even without stabilizer than this thing if it has to turn 1° to aim

The class 3 is insanely underrated, its the only vehicle that ive gotten a nuke in multiple times and is my favorite tank in the whole game due to how powerful it is in an upteir or rather bringing it to top tier because the crew is so far apart its nearly impossible to one shot and apfsds usually goes right through it because it has no armor yet it has amazing movement and a good round

A Solid reason I dont play the BTR-80A is because its Russian Yes because it gets the Modern APDS round that the Russian Army uses it makes the Tank automatically Russian But its NOT its a Soviet Wheeled IFV from the 1986 and should Historically be and stay Soviet. I am sick of people calling Soviet tanks Russian. Its like calling US Tanks British,not just because the UK uses tanks from the US,but because the US originated from the UK.

The USSR was never part of Russian and then separated. It’s the other way round Russia became the Soviet Union along with some other countries that joined the union. Geographical Russia was always the largest part of the USSR and the capital was still Moscow. It was the main bit where everything happened. They are fundamentally the same country just at different periods of time where boarders and governments were different.

Don’t forget that the BTR-80A was produced after the collapse of the Soviet Union even by your strange definitions, it’s still Russian.

Come on. The M24 is so overrated. People are always go on about it being the best thing since sliced bread. Don’t think I’ve ever heard anything said against it.

@@AveragePootis only better if u value speed over survivability. Even in a downtown with the m24, if you’re seen and shot first, you’re dead. The lower br Sherman’s can somewhat use their armour.

@@thisisaduck Considering that the most common foe it will face is something with the long 75, it dosent really matter. Also the chaffee fairs way better against aircraft and in higher tiers, where flanking becomes necessary.

Your recommendation is alright, the rest of them meh. I’d say russian light tanks are generally overlooked, especially the 2S25M. The BTR doesn’t really offer a unique playstyle, we’ve had the RCV and the VBC for quite some time now
