I am leaning towards Africa being the promised land, but the thing that trips me up is all of the oral history of the Lemba (Levi and Judah) and Igbo (Gad) about their travels into the interior of Africa. As a part of this history, they traveled from the east. The Lemba are in S. Africa and say they traveled down from the Levant area through Saudia Arabia to their current location. The Igbo say they traveled west from the Levant to get to their current location in W. Africa. I am trying to figure out how we reconcile these things. I have looked at some of the old maps and looked at maps by the same cartographer that show Jerusalem in S. Africa and in NE Africa where it is located today, so it's definitely something that the ruach will have to open our eyes to.

This is very true. To be clear on up and down as the scripture says let us remember the mountains. This confuses a lot of people I share this with. Going up is not north and going down is not south. We can’t look at it from a map view when discerning this. We must take an earthly view. Traveling a mountain you will either go up it or come down out of it. It’s told the directions as in south or west etc. but up and down references ascension and descending that mountainous region.

The plains that I have seen in East Africa are located in Tanzania and Kenya, I also hear Zimbabwe has flat plains too but there could be more countries as I haven't yet travelled all these other African countries. DRC is very fertile with rich soils and good fruit. I am not sure if the topography of Africa is unchanged from the past.

South Africa is also rich with a lot of food in Canada we get our grapes ( they are bless with wine perfect for Passover), oranges, and other fruits and vegetables.
