NOTIFICATION SQUAD: The end of an era! The most action-packed, ridiculous series we've seen on Abroad in Japan, filled with volcanoes, airplanes, horses, abandoned islands and even an iTunes chart topping hit. A big thank you to you all for watching along. It's a tough series to beat, but perhaps we can make it happen later on this year (once I've recovered from this one). And a special thanks to the Abroad in Japan Patreon community for turning this mad idea into a reality ( www.patreon.com/abroadinjapan ). Now go back and re-watch the entire series! 2 hours of back-to-back mayhem! kzbin.info/aero/PLSOR9_iNzVflGF8OZwBqYH4mxDXvlkpSX

When you have over 2 million subscribers you don't need me to tell you this, but it's never ceased to impress me that this is a person who has made an entire career out of having normal, healthy adult relationships. I watch because he goes around being thoughtful of the needs and feelings of others whilst trying to get a bit of fresh air and exercise. Sometimes he is funny, or teaches something, or eats something, or edits something well. But I just watch to see the great social skills.

I love how you can feel the history and the centuries-old interaction of different cultures as you walk around. I was super excited to watch the final chapter of JAJ: The Lost Islands, but sad now that it's over. These series are some of the best content on youtube; very insightful and interesting, all while masterfully shot and edited (and according to Chris's appearance on Trash Taste, meticulously planned). Chris's adventures always bring a smile to my face, throw in Joey, Natsuki, Dr Jelly, Too Much Volcano, and of course - one hell of a theme song and you know you are in for a rip roaring amazing adventure!! I eagerly await the teasers about Journey Across Japan 4! Kudos to everyone and much kudos to Chris!

What a ripper way to close off the third “Journey Across Japan” series, mate. Despite living in Nagasaki for the past three years now, there are always new things to find hidden away, but all the touristy sites in the city have earned their well-deserved reputation. I was going to say that Mt Nabekanmuri has the better view overlooking the city, but if the burgers at Mt Inasa are as good as you say they are, I might have to revise my opinion. While it was creative of you guys to use the karaoke booth as a makeshift hair salon, the barbershop that Chris pretended to walk into is actually where I usually go to get my hair cut. Anyway, looking forward to seeing what comes next, especially if the Doctor Jelly saga becomes a tetralogy or not. - A random Aussie living in Nagasaki
