Abrupt End To Visitors’ Ability To Apply For A Work Permit In Canada

Hello I just saw that the visitor to Work Permit scheme from within Canada has been ended early. I am now severely anxious as I had an appointment set to flagpol at the end of September does anyone know if these will now be honoured or not? For further clarification. I am currently waiting on PR through BC PNP Express Entry skilled worker stream
