You should get a 4K 120hz LG OLED. It is god tier for that beast of a pc

Thank you! I was wondering whether to get a 4K or 1440p display and I kind of regret not going for the 4K actually. My fear was that the pixels would be too tiny. Then again, as an artist, I think I could use the extra pixels. I think that if I get a really big display, though, the pixels will be bigger... What model number LG OLED 4K would you suggest? Thanks.

@@Joeherman the one I got is a 55 inch LG CX but the newer model is the LG C1. They’re god tier and a lot more expensive than the monitor you got but it’s well worth it to take advantage of everything your pc is capable of because you pretty much combined a high end pc with a mid tier monitor.

It looks really sweet. The question that I have is that I am an artist. Can I rely on the LG for apps like Photoshop, illustrator, Blender, After Effects, etc? Or is is only recommended for games?

Awesome video make sure you're using your PC to the maximum capacity using the latest drivers for the PC and Geforce Experience for graphics drivers also make sure your monitor is set to the correct refresh rate 165hz. keep it up

Thank you for the very useful tips. I upgraded the driver to the latest Geforce from NVIDIA but as it turns out, and what you somehow accurately predicted, is that, to my surprise, the monitor refresh rate was set to 60Hz. I tried to set it to 165Hz both in the NVIDIA control panel and the system-Display-AdvancedSettings, but the maximum it goes up to is 144Hz. Do you know why that is happening? Thanks again. Cheers.

@@Joeherman Yes sir, your Asus monitor might have a Overclocking feature built into the OSD (On Screen Display) that allows you to get that 165hz. I personally own the VG27BQ

Great and thorough review! By the way, can I turn off all the lights if you wanted to? I am the strange gamer that is not particularly fond of lights! I find them distracting in my dark bedroom.

I was going to get a 4k but I find the pixels kind of tiny unless you get a really big monitor. What size were you planning to get. Otherwise I kind of like 1440p in general. I like the pixel density, but one day I might go for the big 4k. It was a hard decision. By the way, did you say you bought a rig with a 3070 in it a few days ago and then you got another one with the 3090 a few days later?

Not too heavy actually, though with the glass cover and everything, not exactly that light either. I would say medium but I don't have the exact weight!
