@@bork6996 unsure as to what causes it but from my knowledge and absent seizure is one of the most dangerous because you can't always tell it's happening unless your paying attention the person will basically zone out like there not there for minutes at a time then when they come out of it not even realize they had it

This is very accurate for absent seizures. I struggled with them for a long time. Luckily, in most cases you can grow out of them, very rarely they stick around. They’re more of a nuisance in school though.

I didn't know these existed before this video but after watching it I had to look a bit more into it. My friends would often fuss at me for blanking out (as they say I zone out but all memory from the event and a bit before it is just gone) and I never thought much of it because hey, this must be normal because they don't seem too alarmed about it. But over all the video was enjoyable and brought light to something new.

I have partial cluster seizures, so whenever I see these I feel so validated, ppl assume that if they aren't grand mals/tonic clonics (the stereotypical ones I guess? Or at least the most common it seems) then they don't exist. Thank you for shining a light on other types (As mentioned I don't have absences but it still makes me feel good so thanks :D)

I've never had a partial cluster seizure. But I have had complex partial seizures, absent seizures and tonic clonic seizures, I still have the complex partial seizures and absent seizures but I stopped having the Tonic clonic ones when I was six. I don't know if you have epilepsy or you just have seizures. But honestly seizures suck and there scary you never know what's going to happen after one

I glad there are some videos like this. My brother has different types of seizures due to his LGS. This is also known as Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. It's very rare and is unfortunately severe. Unfortunately meds are hard to use with him. He has to take like three different types ;-;.. I've had to explain it to everyone but my inside family. I haven't really seen any good videos with seizures, so I'm glad I found one 💜

More info on absent seizures: Commonly found in kids who overwork themselves, don’t sleep enough, disassociate, have dyslexia, or have ADHD. An absent seizure can cause memory damage due to it basically meaning to fall asleep internally. Not to be confused with disassociation, where one zones out for a small period of time, but comes back when someone talks to that person

This is Very accurate. I have had Absence seizures for about 2 years. And the first time I every had one is The day before my birthday. Me and my mother we taking a walk and as We were walking across the street I Had an Absence Seziure. Right in the middle o the street. And I still have Absence Seziures till this day. My hands shake. My Eyelids flutter and I can't remember the conversation I was having before.

This happens to me sometimes so I know the feeling I didn’t tell my friends about it at all Thay figured it out on their owns and they started out and they started bawling so don’t hide a medical condition I’m serious about this one absent seizures are not rare but they are dangerous and some situations so I’d be careful if one happens to a friend if they stop and it looks like they’re shaking you immediately called doctor because it could be a seizure or it could be a stroke and it’s extremely dangerous if it happens.

I have absent seizures and (from my perspective) its some what accurate, if youve had them all your life you wont think anyone teleported but you will forget the whole conversation. Also i want to mention something very important DONT SHAKE A PERSON DURING THEIR SEIZURE ITS NOT GOOD 😭!!!!!! Just make sure they dont hit their head on anything, time it, and inform others. But this vid is pretty accurate besides that :)

@@audreychun8496 it doesn’t work on some devices Such as one of my iPads, I can’t make community posts If u wanna make one, it should say something like “make community post” when you click the button you would click to post regular videos If you don’t have it on your device, maybe try a computer or phone (ect.)
