Focus on the early grades is an important topic to address chronic absenteeism's adverse effects on student learning and schools. This learning series explored chronic absenteeism, and attendance supports for early grade students, particularly kindergarten students. This video shares information from Session 3 in our learning series which features a panel discussion around chronic absenteeism in kindergarten. This session focuses on strategies and equitable next steps you can take to support early grade students. The SEAC team also shares tools and resources to engage with early grades absenteeism to address attendance challenges.
