Pretty solid take. I’m interested to see how this version Bruce Wayne develops and tackles crime as someone who is a living breathing member of Gotham City and not a rich guy in a brown stone outside of town. Will he be further broken when facing corruption from within his own community? All interesting ideas to explore and this version of The Bat. My one fear is that it may get too ‘Comic Booky’ I feel like it would really take away from this version of Bruce if the problems he faces later are Crisis level events. Hoping this book plays to its strengths and keeps things a bit more down to earth.

Thanks for the kind words! And yeah, I think it matters that Bruce isn't a rich kid living in a secluded mansion. He actually grew up in the dirtier parts of Gotham. He's taken then time to study, learn, and understand his city. And he uses that knowledge to his advantage when being Batman.

I have to respectfully disagree with you on one thing. Main Bruce has helped out Gotham with his money. So much so that a plutocratic society unleashed their undead ninjas to stop him from making any more progress. Gotham needs Bruce to be Batman in any world that has a Gotham.
