Circe slowly turning the cave into an actual house was really touching to me. Like she was "okay" with everything she had, but the moment she became Dianas Mother/Warden, she knew she had to step up, and her whole life needed to change to provide for another is honestly the standard of parenting. The moment you have a kid, that kid is your whole world and its beautifully protrayed by just her slowly providing a proper home.

Based on the context, the book about the tree is The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. It's a story about a loved one, usually a parent, giving up everything they have for their child. The child takes very selfishly from the tree, taking its fruit and branches, eventually leaving the tree as nothing but a stump. But the tree always offers more because the tree loves the child. This mirrors Circe's role with WW. Raising the child makes her love her, and even though Circe knows it's going to hurt her, she understands and accepts that one day Diana is going to want to, and need to, pursue who she really is.

@@Sugoiunlimited Kelly Thompson (the writer) said she’s not Zeus’ daughter and that she doesn’t plan on dancing around that idea. Also, the “Spotlight” page at the end of issue #1 states that Diana was a gift from the goddesses to the Amazons. That’s not the Zeus origin at all, that’s the clay origin where she’s brought to life by her mother with help from the goddesses.

Wonder Woman with a giant sword is….. It’s just beautiful! The absolute universe has not disappointed and it shows and shows again and I love every moment of it! Also love that Diana is tall as hell because she’s an Amazon. Which is something she should logically be since they are basically always prograde as super women in the eyes of normal people so I’m glad This was added. Also Rob can you cover the story of Wonder Woman Historia since the tattoo on absolute wonder woman’s arm is supposed to be the symbol of Hecate and the writer kelly Thomson said that that comic has some influence on how she is writing this story and I think it would be good to see it covered here to know ahead of time about things that we could potentially see later on as this story goes on. Just a thought. The Absolute Universe is.

love this video Rob! Quick question could you cover more WW comics in the future. I wish Wonder Woman got more attention by DC, writers, producers, etc. As a guy I was always bullied in school for WW being my fav out of the holy trinity of DC. I can never be Superman, nor ever get to Bruce Wayne level of accomplisment, but WW always felt like a hero that was more grounded. Never wanting to seperate herself from society even though shes a demi-god and immortal. She involves herself in earths politics and laws and establishes a near perfect example of a hero being human. She always looks for the best in others but is willing to do whats right even if the situation declares she do something society will chastise her for. (standing up for those who are screaming for help but its not loud enough to be heard, to be a voice for the defensless. Not in just strength but in diplomacy, for democracy, for freedom in choice and freedom to live with no oppresion). , thanks for all you do Rob! You're a hero too!
