Paldean Fates is the newest Pokemon TCG Set which releases today, January 26, 2024! This is the first set to release in 2024 and is a "Holiday Set." This means it does not fall under the umbrella of Pokemon Main Series Set Releases so it will not include any Pokemon Booster Boxes.
Paldean Fates is also another set like Crown Zenith and Scarlet and Violet 151 that has staggered releases with the first release featuring the Paldean Fates Elite Trainer Box and the Tech Sticker Collection. The main difference between Crown Zenith is that the Paldean Fates ETB only features 9 booster packs instead of 10, much like the Pokemon 151 ETB.
Chalked full of Baby Shiny Pokemon Cards, Shiny Full Art Pokemon Cards, and Special Illustration Pokemon Cards, Paldean Fates is definitely a set that Pokemon Collectors are very excited about. With over 100 Pokemon "Secret Rares" in this set, the Paldean Fates Master Set is extremely difficult to obtain. That's crazy, I pulled 2 Full Art Alakazams from each of my pokemon center ETBs. We lucked out and hit on Iono SpILL and gold Wu Chien, so we were pretty stoked. Still undecided on how far me and my son take this set as we're behind on 151. I agree on the total pull rate, ours is 1.58 from small sample size.

Great job, Danny! Your pull rate videos are by far more informative than others based on how you group by rarity and make sure to state the uncertainties (e.g.., needing well over 100,000 packs to get a more clear picture of pull rates for any individual card).

Ive had decent luck on the pull rates on palden fates, i got iono on my FIRST PACK, then i got gardevoir SSIR later that day. im a min wage part time worker on disability, i only opened 7 blisters and one etb, and i got 2 of the most expensive cards in the set! its great to see i opened under 30 packs and got my money back!

I’m so confused as to how everyone’s already opening it as of the 26th even though they randomly delayed it til February for no reason with no warning. Seriously wish I could open some, it’s definitely the set I’ve been most excited for in a long time, sucks to not get it on the originally planned release day after getting so hyped for it. Anyone know how so many people have been getting it already despite the stupid delay? Or why it was randomly delayed out of nowhere in the first place? Like, it happens occasionally with certain products, but I don’t remember a whole set just randomly getting delayed like this. If it’d been any other set delayed I’d be more fine with it, but this set I’ve been SO hyped for since I’m a big fan of shinies (constant shiny hunter in all the games gen 2 up), and Penny Arven and Nemona are some of my very favourite characters who I was very excited to collect all the new cards for. Plus there’s a gold Koraidon, and Koraidon is literally my favourite Pokémon of all time lol

I can’t believe you are giving away a master set! That is so epic. I’ve tried collecting master sets of most of the sword and shield sets and most of the scarlet and violet sets so far and haven’t been able to! I’ve had to take a break from collecting because it just became way too expensive. I also can’t believe this set has more secret rares than regular cards in the set!
