I think for future series like these you need to have your partner build half of the decks or a 3rd party build them. A little unfair you know the contents of every deck while seereax is blind the entire time.

on god this was insane.. the dark magician deck could have benefited from the unhappy girl, spirit barrier and astral barrier for this... at least I think they were out around the time of GOAT format The combo is unhappy girl gives counters and can't be destroyed, astral barrier can make any of your opponents attacks a direct attack and spirit barrier prevents you from taking damage while you control a monster. it would be a stall loop while shutting down the opp's field, even then astral barrier would allow you to keep your monsters while taking damage.
