Honestly, I have NEVER heard Shirley sound this good live, ever! Don’t take that wrong, I’m a huge, long time die hard fan, only a couple years younger than Shirley. I have seen them live several times and never heard any artifacts from Shirley using autotune, so I am quite convinced she does not use it . In fact once in Copenhagen she gave everyone - herself included - a good laugh when she didn't hit the note. Can't remember the song, but I clearly remember the venue because they refused to remove to stoned and abusive women from the front rows.

Saw her and Garbage open for Alanis Morrisette in Portkad, OR, the same year. Went to see and hear Shirley and Garbsge mainly. Great set. All the hits from the first two albums done spot on to the studio versions. As people came into the open floor level just before their last song, Shirley said. "To everybody who just came in and missed our set ' F***You!" The bandthen Immediately launched into the set ender. Alamis' band was excellent too. One of the best rock concerts I've ever been to. It was in the Rose Garden basketball arena. Full on PA and economics. Noth bands just soared.
