Yeah, the one I usually deal with is that whenever I calm down I feel like something terrible is going to happen immediately to ruin it. Makes getting to sleep harder, made enjoying summer break a nightmare, and makes it so that every day I wake up feeling good I get a little shot of anxiety first thing. I think one of the wildest part of antidepressants was realizing "Oh, I don't feel stressed... that should scare me. How is that not scaring me? What's happening???". Wild stuff, honestly.

Love OCD /s but that was so relatable! I have OCD and for me I "have to" do certain things to avoid general bad thing that is undefinable?? Don't know what it is as I've never tried not following my compulsions long enough to find out! Also I have that double diagnosis of ASD and OCD, so is it a routine or obsession leading to this compulsion, or both? probably both! I also felt so bad for Gangle this episode, but thank goodness for Pomni and Zooble! Loved seeing Ragatha get lost in the sauce this episode and it felt like Jax was trying to connect with the others more this episode??? I wonder what's happening? maybe he's trying to change attention-seeking methods, or maybe he genuinely wants to get closer to them?? hmm...

While my first two jobs were in grocery/retail ("utility clerk" for the first, a cart pusher for the 2nd), I still related to this episode. Mainly, the whole "putting on a metaphorical mask at your job while having a desire to make something creative." Especially as someone with Asperger's/ASD (No clue what the modern definition AS would fit under). My last job before being massively laid off was at a small plastics factory. For various reasons, Im trying to get myself to work on art full-time. For now, thatsin form of selling stickers/acrylic standees on etsy and doing comissions. I wanna actually get into client jobs doing, idk, design stickers, t-shirt graphics, posters, etc. That or comics/animation; whatever is more likely to get me paid decently at a starting position that's less likely to get screwed over by TTL AI. For me, my main issue at both jobs is that while I'm able to handle coworkers or familiar (and friendly) customers, there's so many variables with random customers that it makes it hard for my brain to relax. Especially if they're not outwardly smiling or friendly. Combined with having to do my main job while having to quickly switch to another (bagging and loading a customer's groceries in their car for my 1st job, pushing carts and having to carry out/clean up/etc). Im 30 years old, if that gives any context.
