What a gem you just found. SM the Ballad was a special group put together by SM consisting of 4 of their major vocalists at the time (Jay the lead singer from TRAX, Kyuhyun lead singer from Super Junior, Jonghyun was a lead singer in SHINee, and Jino who was a trainee at the time, now a member of Pentagon)... The idea was to put out music now and them. This special unit project came out in 2010 with songs Miss You*, Hot Times*, Love Again, Don't Lie*, and Another Day. In 2014 their was a new line up with a different mix of vocalist (male and female) named SM The Ballad Vol.2 that came out with the song Breath. As you can see SM dabbled into special groups now and then, their was another project like this for main dancers named SM The Performance consisting of U-know from TVXQ, Eunhyuk and Donghae from Super Junior, Taemin and Minho from SHINee, Kai and Lay from EXO. An example could be song Spectrum* and Maxstep. (*) my personal favorites We miss you Jonghyun ❤❤❤ You did well... Forever one of the greatest vices in Kpop.

I don't know much about it, though I think it was something S.M. put together with singers from some of their groups and they only released a few things. SHINee's Jonghyun was part of this and it makes me happy to see him here, being appreciated. My favorite vocalist / artist of all time...

I discovered kpop when this was released, it just takes me back to daydreaming about jonghyun & khyuhyun , writing fanfic, and nobody else understanding my little obsession 😂

Jinho was 18 years old then and after that SM never debuted him. Now he sounds way better, he currently has activities with Crezl project group formed through Phantom singer 4. They released mv Forbidden love this month. What fancams i saw, vocals are the highest quality and Jinho is rightfully called angel tenor.
