I wouldn't feed them to your fish yet most feeder fish aren't kept in the same kind of conditions like a fish for sale for a aquarium so allot of the time there infested with parasites thats why they look sluggish or skinny you should treat them and let them get healthy berore feeding them to your fish because its a good chance they can pass on those parasites or diseases and i know you have expensive fish so its better to be safe than sorry

You guys inspired me to get my first Silver Arowana! I will be keeping him in a 125 gallon. Is that big enough? He will be with a baby red tail catfish and a Asian needle-nose gar. Will that work? He will probably need an upgrade as he gets larger, and a red tail catfish will DEFINITELY need a larger tank/pond. Red tailed catfish can get well over 4 ft long.
