If they would be saving them they’d be saving them from a life of being feeder fish, fed to other fish, AND dying a slow death in a small pet store tank

You should make a cichlid tank with a feeder tank near it. It would be easily accessible by just netting a couple feeder fish then having the cichlids eat. Would be good in my opinion. Like if agree.

TSM__ Scrafty I recently got a 10 gallon and put tropical community fish in it, I put 3 mollies in 2 guppies 2 tetra and 2 Cory catfish with 1 clown pleco it looks really nice and I love them

I wouldn't feed them to your fish yet most feeder fish aren't kept in the same kind of conditions like a fish for sale for a aquarium so allot of the time there infested with parasites thats why they look sluggish or skinny you should treat them and let them get healthy berore feeding them to your fish because its a good chance they can pass on those parasites or diseases and i know you have expensive fish so its better to be safe than sorry
