My cousin had a super abusive boyfriend, and one time when we were out shopping for my mom, he called her, and the yelling was intense, we were in the car now. He said he was gonna destroy her CDs and work Mac. The fight happened because he thought she was seeing another person, because she was getting a lot of texts, but it was really just her friend group chat. By the time we were at her house, the door was wide open, glass shattered, CDs, book boxes, a keyboard and a brand new Mac had been thrown out of the window. His car was in the grass still. She came back to my house with a few scratches on her arm, she showed me photos of them bleeding. It was over. We have never heard from him since. This happened March 2018.

FYI I did a lil research and vid @4:27 where the chick is holding her baby while her "toxic" bf or whatever is pounding on the door is cap. She was actually trying to unalive herself, grabbed the baby, and ran into the bathroom with her. The bf was just trying to get his daughter back and now has full custody and the baby is now a toddler. Source: The baby's stepmother and grandfather on TT confirmed all of the above and I found the "mother's" new account (TT deactivated this one due to slander) and she doesn't have custody and apparently has a drug problem. 🤷🏽♀️ Also, vid @5:00 is def cap (source: my own opinion as an adult with a fully developed pre-frontal cortex and common sense), just looks like terrible acting to me.

Watching this brought back so many horrible memories from my childhood, my father was a abusive drunk, he used to beat on my mother and us kids daily, my beautiful strong mother finally found the courage to leave him when I was 14, she had 7 children and was so scared, but she gave us a wonderful life after we left, my father doesn't understand why none of us kids want anything to do with him today, it pisses me off that after 32 yrs he still won't admit and apologize for putting us through hell, he's remarried and has 2 teenage kids, who he treats great, I'm glad that my half siblings don't have to through the hell that we went through, but it also pisses me off that he couldn't treat us the same way

Sorry, you had to go through this. He won't apologize, abusers rarely do. Look up "adult children of alcoholics." There is also adult children of narcissists and broader term: adult children of emotionally unhealthy parents. Try watching on youtube: Tim Fletcher, Jerry Wise, Crappy Childhood Fairy, Healthy Gamer GG, Carl Benedict, Dr. Michael Yapko.

To add to the recommendations below I highly recommend Patrick Teahan LCSW, a therapist who grew up with an abusive drunk for a father, & whose life work specialises in availing himself & his knowledge of •narcissistic •emotionally immature •alcoholic •addicted •personality disordered •abusive •neglectful parents or guardians, specifically supporting the adult children of said parents, making as much free support & resources available as possible to the world. He does so working from the RRP model, which he was a client of at aged 19 for five years by the original founder of the theory. RRP is Relational Recovery Program, it’s based on inner child work. The purpose is to help someone develop a bridge between their two selves- their adult self, and their inner child self. The adult is the expert on the present. The inner child is the expert on the past. The adult self is who sought therapy, who functions as best as we can day to day. Our inner child self holds our emotions and reactions to 3 elements: people, places, things. When we grow up in dysfunction and trauma, our inner child self is exiled, repressed. When we become an adult, that inner child is very much still part of us, but runs around in us in ways we’re often not even aware of, or don’t like. His website has many free resources. For small fees, there is the option of accessing some of his trauma courses, it’s like an online workbook with pre recorded videos for each section etc etc. It’s not a substitute for therapy, but if therapy isn’t an option financially, or if doing this further work on your healing journey is something you want to do, it’s a brilliant and affordable option for many. And his KZbin channel has hundreds of wonderful videos, with such a gentle and empathic sensitivity. He just feels safe. That’s my personal experience anyway. I’m 30 and just now trying to find my own identity because it’s so tightly entwined with my parents/The Family. My entire life I’ve been raised to believe I was the family. Now, I’ve been discarded because I’m finally establishing very very baby step boundaries for myself. With therapy I’m beginning to recognise the coercive control I grew up in, and have continued to be in even having lived out of home for many years now. The biggest thing Patrick’s videos help me with is beginning to recognise (even if that recognition hasn’t reached my heart yet) is that this isn’t about me; it’s not my fault; I didn’t cause this; nothing I did or didn’t do can explain why parents would treat their child/adult child this way; it’s not my fault; I am not my parents perception; my identity and purpose is greater than my role within The Family; I am worth something; I am enough; I am not too much; I am loveable. Those exact same things apply to you. I am so profoundly sorry for everything which your father did, and equally sorry for all the things he didn’t do- a parents inactions are just as important, if not more so, than a parents actions and reactions. I won’t pretend to know how it feels for your father to have started a new family, & treat those children differently. That must be the greatest gaping wound in your soul. Sadly, it’s not an uncommon thing among parents with narcissistic personality disorder, & similar personality disorders. People with NPD follow a predictable pattern. It's not just romantic relationships, it's any relationship. 1. Glorifying, commonly called Lovebombing. 2. Devaluation. 3. Discarding/Abandoning. Then, it's rinse and repeat. In a romantic relationship, they might go through this pattern hundreds of times- thousands, if it's a 20 year marriage etc. Or, with a colleague at work, it might happen just once. Some will also do the same thing with their families, especially if they have a particular disgust and hatred for the other parent of their children. They don't see any separation between the other parent and their shared children. It's just four little ex-wives, and one big ex-wife. Additionally, they're extremely insecure people. That's where this disorder comes from. Malignant insecurity. People think the opposite, because they are typically grandiose in their ego and arrogance. But that's severe overcompensation for what they're feeling inside. Someone who felt good or okay about themselves wouldn't need to do that. So, if they know they've f***ed up, and failed- they aren't going to want to look at their four kids, because everytime they do, it's a reminder of something they absolutely cannot deal with, on a psychic level. So, they discard. They begin again. It's the ultimate eff you to the ex-spouse they hate. It means they don't have to be reminded of their failings. And it's proof to themselves. _See? I'm not the problem. I can treat my kids great anytime I want to; that's proof it's a you problem, not a me problem_ They're infallible legends in their own minds. Out of everything, I've found Patricks videos and the community in the comments the most comforting, because to see the exact same behaviours, patterns, manipulations, arguments, even down to the same sentences, word for word "You just can't ever move on can you? You always want to go over the past. You need to learn to let go and move on!"- it's just affirming, it's proof for me that maybe I'm not the problem, if so many other people go through the same thing. But you have to find what works for you, and everyone is different, depending on your gender, age, cultural background, personality, experiences. I really encourage you to keep searching for what clicks and feels right for you though, because while there will always be the impact of what you were forced to endure, healing and a greater happiness and health is absolutely possible, and those burdens from the past can become much lighter. Much love and light to you

The dude asking was she around people reminds me so much of my mother. She would literally call and as soon as I answer would say "Don't say anything, who is around you?" "Are you alone?" Depending on my response I either got a pleasant conversation or she was about to rain down on me the fire of a million demons. If I was a smart girl though, I would have lie and said I was alone but put her on speaker so others could see what my private hell was. Our mom and stepdad didn't beat him, they were just relieved to have found him unharmed and okay. And my parents sat down my brother bio dad to tell him the situation and then made a game plan on how to prevent this. Not once was he beaten or yelled at, he was lightly scolded for not calling one of them to pick him up and putting himself in danger. To the woman in the last video: I don't know if you will ever see my comment but I just wanna say you are literally an angel on earth. I have been in an abusive relationship, both emotional and physical, and I wish that I had a friend like you to turn to during that time. You are an amazingly brave and caring individual. We have heard all to often how law enforcement and the courts dont take DV victims seriously. The fact that there are people who blame the victim for being trapped in that toxic environment and not leaving immediately or shame them by saying stuff like "This will never happen to me. I'm smarter than to allow someone to abuse me." is absolutely disgusting. Seeing you put yourself at risk to help not only the people in your life but complete strangers as well, was incredibly heartwarming. More people need to have such a good heart and the compassion that you do. Stay safe out there! If anyone reading this has been the victim of any sort of abuse or is going through it currently, I just want to remind you that you are NOT alone and you do not deserve to be treated in that way. The person with the problem is the one who is abusing you. They are disgusting, weak, and worthless. Please reach out to someone you trust or resources in your area and confide in them. It is going to be scary to leave but your life is too special to risk losing it. It will take you some time to heal from what you have experienced but the hardest part is getting away and staying away from your abuser. Once you do that, you can do anything else you set your mind to. If you have a friend/family member/neighbor/co worker/ etc who is in an abusive relationship, please do not judge them. Until you have walked in another's shoes you don't know what they are going through. Let them know that you are there for them without judgment and that you care about them. I am not saying that you need to put your own physical safety at risk to rescue them like the woman in the video but there are many other ways that you can help give them the strength to get out. Personally I remember being absolutely petrified having to go to court and stand in front of the judge, rows of strangers, and my abusive ex in order to get a restraining order. He had been arrested on charges that did not involve me and was being held for 30 days with no bail due to violation of probation. I took the opportunity of him being in jail to finally get away from him and went to get a restraining order. I knew that he was going to be handcuffed, shackled, and that correctional officers would be next to him but just the thought of how angry he was going to be scared the living shit out of me. Originally my mom was supposed to go to court with me but she is a paramedic and had a last minute call so she was unable to leave work and make it in time. A few of my close friends had told me to let them know how everything went so I texted them and let them know how my mom was not going to be able to make it, that I was going to take the bus to the court, and that I would call them once I was out. I get to the courthouse feeling anxious, terrified, and overwhelmed. As I came through security and walked into the front lobby I almost burst into tears. Standing there were 4 of my closest friends waiting to go in with me. My best friend had immediately called out of work once she saw I was going to be alone, messaged the others and picked them up on her way to the court. Words cannot describe how much I appreciated what they did for me. Sometimes all we need is someone to be there, an ear to vent to, a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold, or a hug.

5:46 i just dont understand why he would bring his kid into it. i have experienced this for years and am still going through it and its a horrible feeling! and then he just continues to tell her "no, im not your daddy." while you could hear in her voice that shes probably on the edge of crying and i would too! i would be crying too! his kid is asking for him and the mom even said she was begging him and he doesnt want to pick go pick her up. and then he has other younger kids too?! and the reason im upset about this one is because i have gone through this since i was four and im 15 now and still going through it. luckily, my parents only fight when my dad is drunk and he doesnt really drink as much as i remember he used to. and i also have two younger siblings, a sister and a brother and i remember my sister would also repeat what my dad said about my mom like "mommys crazy/psycho" (its the one i remember most) and i remember just crying myself to sleep those nights. it could have a big impact on your kids life just like it did with mine. and its scary sometimes. all these thoughts could just start running through your head like if your dad/mom is gonna end up going too far or if they end up hurting eachother or if they end up leaving. it really does get scary sometimes. and to end this off i just wanna say thanks for reading it all the way to here if you did, and i really hope all of you are doing good. sorry if this was long :]

What I was saying is that he told me once that he tried his hardest to say yhe most hurtful things to me when we are arguing and that he always uses my insecurities to his advantage and to win the argument smdh. He did wonderful in the first 6-9 months to make me fall in love with him and to pull me away from others then one day the switch was flipped and I only saw that man again when he was making up with me. I consider myself lucky that I made it out alive between him choking me till I blackout and my depression and suicide attempts. When my father was alive, my nana used to berate me because I refused to see the bastard. Never mind that she knew that he was mentally and emotionally abusing me, "he was my father and I should respect him". If I had been allowed to have that man's ashes, I would have put out a cigarette in them and I don't even smoke. That's the amount of respect I had for that man, which is none.
@yourlocaltipgirl13283 жыл бұрын
This goes out for all boys/men: Don't let no woman or man, make you feel as if you're nothing but crap! You should know that you're not. Who cares about how you look?! You're beautiful, handsome, amazing, smart, creative, supportive, loyal, and humorous. Just know that you're one of a kind and I get that your parents or lover may not be the best but never let them take you sunshine away :D If things in your house seem like to much just go for a walk (in the day and be back while the sun is still out), enjoy the breeze while trying to count the number or trees you spot on your small journey! When you're walking back be mindful but also take a huge breath in before exhaling out deeply. Think about the trees that you counted and try and remember what color the leaves and stumps were. Smile brightly and never quit. Hold that head up high and take pride in what you do! If you wanna be an artist, draw the trees you saw! If you wanna be an athlete, try and reach the highest branch (Be careful though). If you wanna be an architect just picture turning those trees into tiny little houses for people. Don't smoke. If you do, try and stop. People in the world are traveling for a reason, you never know if one of them wants to meet you. When in doubt, think before you do anything because one small action can change your life forever! Now let's say that you have a daughter and the mother isn't present in that child's life or isn't very supportive (aka abusive) well let me tell you on how to help not only you but the child! Starting with hair! When it comes down to hair it does matter what texture your child has, you MUST handle it with care. Be gentle. If the child is over the age of 3 you can use a small amount of gel for the child's hair but please read product ingredients before applying to any form or type of hair. Gently comb and brush the hair into the designated hair style and give your child a kiss on the forehead and always tell them that you love em. Moving on towards money! Don't stress out about money when it comes down to your child. If you have a job that gives a good pay you should split the money between groceries, investments, and money for you to keep. If you don't have a job that is okay. You have relatives and multiple people that are willingly ready to help you with opened arms. I get that money can get tight but don't let trends and social media tell YOU what's best for YOUR child. Hold your head up high and raise your child with love. Now we're on troublemaking! I get that your child may cause some trouble or do something they aren't supposed to do. PLEASE and I mean PLEASE, refrain from hitting your child with anything harsh that will scar skin or traumatize them. Your child isn't supposed to fear you nor what is in you hand (like a book or a wooden spoon). You could raise your voice but not to the point that it hurts their feelings because let me tell you something. When a father yells at his daughter or son it hurts way more than you think it does . If raising your voice to a respectable tone doesn't work just calmly go towards them and tell them that they shouldn't do that and that doing that is bad. Sure, the child may not listen after that but that is their choice, just don't reward it. As long as you don't give into it they will eventually stop. Now onto LGBTQ+! If your child/teen/pre-adult/adult, comes out to you, don't treat them like a damn sin, cause they aren't! They are a part of you and they shouldn't feel that coming out is wrong. You must be their safe place, cause lord knows what happens to them at school or anywhere. They should be able to come home and walk into your open arms for comfort. Make them know that it is okay and that you will ALWAYS love them no matter what. DRUGS! Do not let them take any form of drugs (unless it's medicine for fevers, you know what I mean). Your child needs to grow healthy and strong so please don't encourage them to take drugs. Lastly, Privacy, Dating, and Parental Vision! Coming from a girl teen's mouth is pretty shocking but I have to say what I have to say. Give your child their privacy. They need it, it builds a trust bond between you and them. Privacy builds respect and once you invade their privacy and mess up how they view you, its over. You doing that will make you seem as if you don't trust them. Dating! Your child may have feelings or someone and want to date them. THAT IS NORMAL! Just make sure that person isn't a faker and isn't going to use your child for their own satisfaction, if that does happen, you have all rights to step in line and push that person away from your child. Parental Vision, please be mindful of what you have lurking around and make sure you store away anything dangerous. Let your child be on their phones of computers because that's what they want to do. They will come to you when they are ready. Don't rush anything! Remember to always love them! And Remember that I will always love you ^^ (even though I don't know yall) Your Local Tip Girl

The kid who tried to “run away” I mean you can try to justify everything but the video made it seem like she wanted to beat his ass. The belt, the broom, him entering the house with those sub titles. At the VERY FIRST moment of abuse, you must contact Law Enforcement and be willing to prosecute. You do not have to accept this. This IS NOT an acceptable situation. In addition, contact a family member that you can trust. If you do not do this, you are allowing this to continue. WHY is your safety less important than making sure this is uploaded to TikTok ??!!!!!!!!!!

15:00 - The way he explains the story vs what the video showed was so different. Let me get this straight- as a mother, you want your son to want to spend time with you when he can because he doesn't live with you. So to solve that problem, you're going to chase him down and try to beat him? How does that make any sense? The kid was clearly uncomfortable with the mom and wanted to call his dad and go home. They try to justify the situation in this video, but I see no justification. Kid was scared of his mom and knew a beating was coming so he ran. The fact that he banged on a neighbor's door for help says a lot. I am of the firm belief that you should NEVER force a child to spend time with you, even as a parent. If they say they don't want to do something with you and your reaction is to punish them or beat them for it, you're teaching them that they're not allowed to have boundaries or say no. And forcing a child to spend time with you when they don't want to is just going to make them not want to be around you even more. Believe it or not, children are their own people with boundaries and rights.

I'm a Scorpio and I'm definitely not abusive 🤷🏽 but I think female Scorpios are different because my ex-husband was a Scorpio and he was very abusive he was sneaky a liar and acted like a snake ... I mean very sneaky which is why we're not together now

I’m sick of the “I’m doing this because I love you” excuse because you don’t hurt people when you love them, you talk to them and it can go either way when talking to them too but still it’s a lot less physically painful for both of u honestly and ur just gonna be mad you won’t ever be satisfied by hurting people you “love”

That's a good dad to back his baby mama chasing their run away son. Knowing she was scared and never hurt him.

She should have called the police And went and got her dog. There is something really wrong with people like this. There is something mentally wrong with them .
@MegaBumblebee6662 жыл бұрын
You've never had to call the police before have you? They're useless about 90% of the time without evidence. They're not always going to take your word without evidence. The recording is evidence and even with evidence they may arrest him and then release him the next day if they even decide to care about a threat against an animal because they might not
