In my opinion some of the most creative people on the planet. Videos by AC-Bu look like nothing else, and to think they learned everything on their own, rebuilding their standards each attempt, in a country where animation is so massive and industrialized. Their videos are incredibly silly but the artistry beyond it is incredibly unique

Great video! These guys are really interesting, and I love how they started to talk about breaking out of the status quo style, breaking from constraints of trad animation by not learning the basics, using alternative tools. I enjoyed how they alluded to also drawing on previous manga traditions (Garo magazine for example, heta-Uma style, king terry etc). Very interesting work!

It's funny, around 7 years ago I found and really liked the style of the music videos AC-bu did for group_inou. And when I seen the Pop Team Epic scene where the guy lifts his glasses to show he's not looking at them I knew for sure it definitely was made by AC-bu. I know tons of people that can draw characters in the average big eye anime/manga style to the point its really hard to pick a lot of those artists out from their work. But AC-bu is so interesting and unique that I had complete certainty that it was them the moment I seen it. I really like the work of artists that blaze their own path like them.
