Cliff is such a terrific bass player. Full of rock, blues and boogie in his lines. Always plays what is best for the songs. And crucial in the most precise and solid rythm section of hard rock.

Flawlessly tight rhythm section! Cliff is so underrated. This is a masterclass for a rock drummer and bassist. This is how its done

This is such a great bass line. I had to come listen to it after just seeing a “premier” tribute band where the bass player clearly was doing it all wrong. The tone, feel, timing, mutes, note lengths and little fills that Cliff does are just perfect for the tune and such a core part of it. You could learn a lot about being a good bass player by studying why parts like this work so well. Great job Cliff!

@@theunknownone4433 yeah, Phil only plays what he needs to play (he doesn't add extra beats), and hits the drums way harder.

Wiki claims it’s Phil on drums here. Do you know something we don’t? Is it Slade?
@bricekey13103 жыл бұрын
Yeah, not Phil. Phil doesn’t play ghost notes like Chris does.

@@bricekey1310 chris slade was good in 91 at donington it felt like the crowd needed motivation and a lot of hype because he is like a power rusher now since he hasnt probably played acdc's songs when he left now he starts dragging out of tempo and adds extra beats like thunderstruck he has a faster tempo instead of one beat on cymbal he uses two before he uses the pedal beat so i kinda get what u mean
