The copyright detection stuff doesn't like it when audio that has already been uploaded to KZbin (in this case AC/DC own upload of the son), appears unaltered in chunk longer than... Another big (huge) band that is now a part of your journey. I am thrilled that you enjoyed this so much. I actually thought you might like them, since how I have noticed that you like a lot of hard rock songs. So when people are trying to determine what the difference is between hard rock and metal, I think we need to ask ourselves, "Does Amy like it?" If she does it is probably hard rock.😉 AC/DC are often identified as the closest representation of pure rock/hard rock, which I agree with. They have a strong Chuck Berry influence, so the term the term "rock n roll" also applies. Particularly with their lead guitarist Angus Young, who is heavily influenced by Chuck. You should also hear some of their earlier Bon Scott era songs, now that you have heard Brian Johnson as the lead singer. Either way, they still always have that same iconic AC/DC sound. Great reaction and observations.

An interesting feature of guitar riff that plays from the opening second to the end of the song is that it’s a feature of the guitars tuning. Each of the melody notes in the pattern is alternated with the note the string is tuned to open (B). His fingers are just moving up and down the B string, and by alternating with the open note it makes the pattern sound much more difficult to play than it actually is, some you only have to finger every other note.

AC/DC are raw, sweat soaked, blue collar, blues based, high voltage rock, and nearly a genre unto themselves. Most of their compositions are relatively simple, and best experienced live (although the albums are very good too), but having said that, AC/DC do simple better than just about anyone else, and that makes them broadly appealing, hence their success. They are a band that don't take themselves too seriously, and make music that is fun to play, and listen to, because, it's supposed to be entertainment after all. One of the most famous aspects of AC/DC's music is the unusual "screechy" singing (or however you care to describe it). After original singer Bon Scott unfortunately passed away, they came back with the Back in Black album with Brian Johnson as the new singer; his singing/voice sounded remarkably similar to Scott's (I personally think both are very good). Another thing the band is famous for is lead guitarist Angus Young's energetic stage antics. He would do the duckwalk, get down and spin around on the ground, climb up on the singer's shoulders, etc. all while still playing like a champ!

Here in Australia just the guitar riff of Thunderstruck is often played before major sporting events. ACDC had a previous incarnation in the 70s with a different singer, Bon Scott, who tragically passed from alcoholism in about 1980. Brian Johnson left his band, Geordie, and became the ACDC front man. Making ACDC a band who got better from a new lead singer. If you want to go back to the Bon Scott era, I suggest "A long way to the top if you want to rock and roll" which uses an unusual musical instrument, at least for hard rock.

Seems like an exercise in Angus Young's endurance. Im sure his fingers might as well be made of steel but this takes it to another level. Puts me in the mind of SWANS for the repetitive bar after bar of fretting and picking.

In Romania , in two separate cities, the music you play is censored 2 seconds an image who says "KZbin don't like this music so we cut, cut,cut " then two seconds of music. And so on. On other channels "AC/DC - Thunderstruck" plays without any problem. So I think is an attack to your channel. Love your channel, have listened all 44 posts for "Pink Floyd - The Wall" You are marvelous! Best channel with classical musicians listening for tthe first time a rock song. I recomand "Rapsodia Romana No.1 by George Enescu directed by Sergiu Celibidache". Vlad knows about what I'm talking about.

They're one of the only bands i can think of that never really altered their sound, "much".They didn't feel the need to go all progressive and/or soft with a bunch of ballads. You could always count on them to just have fun and rock you. Angus Young is one of the most animated lead guitarists ever, fun to watch him hop across the stage or march in place, all while constantly head-banging the entire time. I think he's in his 60's and still does it.

Every single song AC/DC made is good. Its actually wild how they never made a "bad" song

So, are the days of being able to hear uncut music on KZbin coming to an end?

Thanks for that and now please the "Steve'n'Seagulls" cover in video form. And Brian Johnson has really worked real hard his whole life to develop his voice quality😉 It always reminds of the growls and hiss of a big cat predator.

An acoustic musician will appreciate how much power Steve ‘n’ Seagulls get out of their acoustic instruents

I'm wondering if you will soon react to the cover by the 2 Cellos?

Definitely definitely check out the cover of this done by Moyun on her traditional Chinese string instrument, the Guzheng. Absolutely beautiful performance!

It's a good song and I'm not even an AcDC fan. But its a unique piece of work.

Lots of people recommending songs by the late great Bon Scott, I’d throw in “It”s a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock ‘n Roll),” perhaps the only rock song in rotation that features a bagpipe/guitar duel. Brian Johnson’s voice has become iconic since with plenty of great tracks to check out, off the top of my head “You Shook Me All Night Long,” “Back in Black,” and “Let There Be Rock.” There are many, many more. Also, damn it KZbin, why do you have to keep ruining our fun? Chill, dawg.
