Lyrics: You're working in bars, riding in cars Never gonna give it for free Your apartment with a view on the finest avenue Looking at your beat on the street You're always pushing, shoving, satisfied with nothing You bitch, you must be getting old So stop your love on the road All your digging for gold You make me wonder Yes, I wonder, I wonder Honey, what do you do for money? Honey, what do you do for money? Where you get your kicks? You're loving on the take, and you're always on the make Squeezing all the blood out of men Yeah, we're standing in a queue, just to spend the night with you It's business as usual again You're always grabbin', stabbin', trying to get it back in But girl, you must be getting slow So stop your love on the road All your digging for gold You make me wonder Yes, I wonder, yes, I wonder Honey, what do you do for money? Honey, what do you do for money? Yeah, what do you do for money, honey? How do you get your kicks? What do you do for money, honey? How you get your licks? Go Yow! Honey, what do you do for money? I said, Honey, what do you do for money? Oh honey (honey) Oh yeah, honey, what do you do for money? What you gonna do? Hey now, honey (oh yea, honey), what do you do for money? What you gonna do? Oww, what you gonna do?

Just think about this for a second, Bon Scott makes his last appearance with the band on February 9th, 1980; ten days before he passes away, it may have been a lip sync performance but still it showed how during their original run how raw and energetic and just completely crazy they were living at the time. Fast forward 3-5 months later, Bon unfortunately is gone, but with Brian Johnson, he has the mic and now the band, who could have easily packed up and called it a career at that point, started fresh and new and gave it everything they had on the Back in Black Album, it's absolutely amazing how much can change in such a short amount of time especially when the sound of the band definitely changes within a year.

@@jjj-qj8lu I know lots of guitarists that say it’s easy. So play it I say. Then they play the chords but without the GROOVE! The riff for the verse in this song is a classic example of having to get the groove down even though it’s ‘just’ simple power chords. Deceptively talented musicians 💪🏻

Many people don’t know, but the music has intricate hooks , time measures, and artistic Bass notes other bands don’t even do. Listen to the Bass in Back in Black and there’s a Bass note 99% never catch, the miss it all the time. See if you can here it on the main riff. Legends!!!!!!

Younger fans may not appreciated just how huge a deal the “Back in Black” album was back then. Bob Scott was irreplaceable…but somehow Brian Johnson made it work and fit right in. I personally cannot think of any other replacement band member who was and still is as beloved as Brian. Granted he’s no Bon, but at the same time however, there are later tracks that were tailor made for Brian. “For Those About To Rock” is perhaps the best example.
