I kept both ac and fan on earlier and saw lot of dust accumulated in filter. Even after cleaning every 15 days dust went into coil fins and eventually cooling decreased with air flow. Since i opened ac top to clean often the lock also became loose and broke at a point of time. Now i purchased new indoor unit and using at 26 degrees without fan. It gives good comfort for me. Also my ac mechanic advised never use fan with AC since they see lot of complaints. Not everyone will maintain ac properly.

When AC is ON the fan should be OFF...because hot air is less denser. .and thats why air suction is on the top of the indoor unit and blower is at the lower side..cold air is more denser and stays down....if fan is ON..then it pushes the hot air down....which will reduce the efficiency of the AC...so pls dont ON fan while running the AC. Also running a Fan will push a lot of dust into the AC intake vent which will clog a lot of dust inside the indoor unit.

First time used 16° cool down entire room and things. Second time 24° cool down takes less time so it will consume less... So different time interval or next day for sampling will get correct result

If you used 24° next day from 2:40 to 4:40 PM and compared 16° vs 24 ° whether your results would remain the same? I don't think so. His inference is that you get direct sunlight from 2:40 to 4:40 PM. If you are testing 24 °, from 4:40 to 6:40 PM, heat transfer from outside to inside is less, take less time to cool, hence, results will be biased. Second he says both batches have to be tested separately, not one after the other

you are correct. But, not advisable to run AC with a fan. It disturbs the cooling efficiency. Those who can afford to use ac, they can use only AC. Those who can afford only a Fan, should use only a fan or bdlc fan only. Problem solved.

If it is working as you said, please do one video by installing the fan and switch on the both AC and fan and show the unit consumption. Also this fan cost is 8000 rs, better we can go to normal bldc fan which is cost around 3000rs and we can operate it via remote, this will save 5k. Features are nice but in real time i am thinking these features are making bit complex to the users because it is dependent on the internet and mobile phones. A product with minimalistic and simple design will reach most of the people. Don't think I am opposing this fan, even i am supporting to bldc fan but these many things for 8k is looks costly for normal people. Because a person who is affordable to buy a fan for 8k is dont think about the EB charges.

It is wrong practise to use fan and ac together, as most of the people said it create more dust then usual, the main part is that the temperature sensor will be damaged and will work incorrect. I also read many articles regarding the ac combine with fan, i tried it 5 years back using atomberg bldc fan with carrier inverter 1.5 ton AC, i felt it is causing some issue with the ac and also I feel dryness which is the ultimate effect of the fan and efficiency of the ac is coming down due to more dust accumulating due to the fan blade velocity, please note that the minimum distance between the blade tip and ac Is 2m for that itself I am faced problem. Do not try to use fan with ac you may risk the warranty of the ac. Some research already shown not advisable to use ac with fan

If you are on top floor and you have open terrace, then fan will keep pulling heat from roof and will Not cool efficiently. My 5 star inverter AC would consume 2.2 units with fan for 2 hours and .9 units without fan. I have open terrace above and one side of the bedroom wall facing afternoon sun.

Don't use AC and Fan at the same time. Your AC consumes less power at higher temperature because your compressor shuts off when the temp is reached. So when you set the ac at 28 your compressor shuts off sooner and you wont get the cold air anymore. Also by physics hot air at the floor rises up and AC cools from bottom to top and not top to bottom. Eventually hot air accumulates at the top for the ac to suck in and having the fan on blows the hot air back down.

Maybe my comment is controversial but I felt disappointed with the quality of research done on this topic by Engineering facts, (I'm also from EEE background) Fact is A/c when turned on in the noon was cooling the room initially by keeping the compressor on. Later when it was kept on 24°c it had to just continue keeping the room instead of cooling entirely from ambient noon heat. Viewer can see Syed bro sweating initially Why I call this Oruttu is, Switching ON fan with A/C causes 2 problems, 1. A/c blower works with filter and running fan in concurrence results in more dust on air layer which will clog up your A/C net sooner reducing efficiency. Also this will cause your A/c to soon built-up odour 2. Fan increases Air flow inside Room thus pressurising the cool air escape through gaps of room. This will lead to A/c needing to work more harder (run compressor longer) to cool down the room. Anybody can check this by running A/c alone for 1hr and next day same time 1hr with fan, to note Room will continue to remain cool for longer I strongly suggest this concept can be studied again, the 2 hours wattage reading periodicity could be taken with enough time interval like next next day. Finally, if data about data on how much current is consumed in both A/c seperately and A/c+Fan and also dust accumulates in A/c, would be analysed to conclude this question. Very nice and curious question to seek answer for. Hope others engineering minds also think of this

Reason given by him was that the ceiling fan circulates the air in the room with the finest dust particles available in the room. Was expecting to hear something about hot air circulation where ac sucks hot air from top and at the same time ceiling fan also sucks the hot air from top thus creating insufficient air flow for the ac. The best way to use Fan along with AC is to either extend the ceiling Fan head well below the ACs throw vent or use a Table fan.

Exactly....no one talks about it....running the fan during AC ON.will reduce the efficiency of the AC....because hot air floats on top (less denser)....cold air stays down(more denser) ....if fan is ON..ir pushes the hot air down...then AC purpose wont suffice. ..

I wish to bring the following points to be included in the process of comparison: 1.The testing at 16 degree and 24 degree should have been done on 2 different days,for the same duration.when the ac is run @16 degree,the room gets cooled,and subsequently,when we run @24 degree ,due to the continous cooling,the machine will cut off much frequently and thereby ,consuming less power obviously.hence this kind of testing may not guide us rightly. 2.secondly,in the indoor unit,the speed of the fan matters very much, in respect of power consumption.lower the fan speed,low will be the current consumption,In the indoor unit. 3.when we talk of the ceiling fan,I think the pedestal or wall fans will only help mostly,because where the ceiling fans are used,in case of those fans,fitted beneath the terraced roofs,then the ceiling fans will only produce negative effect by absorbing the heat of the terrace , blending it with the cool air of ac and thereby resulting into more consumption of power. I want the people to apply their mind comprehensively,so that we can still get to achieve,more than what we are told .

When AC is ON the fan should be OFF...because hot air is less denser. .and thats why air suction is on the top of the indoor unit and blower is at the lower side..cold air is more denser and stays down....if fan is ON..then it pushes the hot air down....which will reduce the efficiency of the AC...so pls dont ON fan while running the AC. Also running a Fan will push a lot of dust into the AC intake vent which will clog a lot of dust inside the indoor unit.

As per your previous claim (beggining of video)without using fan,AC took 1.98(~2 units) at 16°C. Now at the end of video you are claiming that same 2 units is consumed with fan at same 16°C.If the same energy is consumed for AC while operating at 16°C (with and without fan),what is the point in using fan?(Energy consumption wise). On the otherway, if you are claiming that energy is consumed very less only while using AC+bldc (with duo cool)at 28°C,what is the point in using Airconditioner?. Is it really comfortable at 28°C?The purpose of using AC is itself lost at 28°C.
