It's been 9 months since this vid. It would be interesting to see what you learnt about exploration and your progress. From small improvements like cloaking when going past npcs so you don't take damage needlessly to not having an interdiction nullifier in null sec. Thing's like also putting things like a mobile depot in your cargo with reapir modules and also taking a gun on your other hi slot aren't needed either. Having extra stuff in your cargo reduces the amount of loot you can get. Combat probes are mostly useful for finding drones or for use in wormhole systems where someone might have starbases set up but have left the game. Which would mean any ships in the shield are now free to take for yourself if you have the skill to fly them out.

I wouldn't even worry about tank or offense on a probing ship. Just d-scan and head on a swivel.

Exploring is really relaxing, even in wormhole space. I have been doing wh exploration in a Heron for about a week since I joined brave and earned around 650m isk without dying once. It seems like there aren't many wormholes that are getting camped in nullsec.

@@GG4EVA623 after spending 8 years in a sov...it is good money but if you go in knowing to make isk asap and gtfo without having to join the politics is nice. I rent now lol the best isk.

Very easy to get ganked in a wormhole because there's no local... e.g. a combat astero cloaked and jumping between save points at two different sites waiting for unarmed Herons to start opening boxes.

The abandoned sites you encountered are safe as long as you don't fail a hack. if you do then npc's spawn though sometimes they don't spawn after 1 failed hack. Drone space is not very good exploring, usually very little isk in the data sites there, unless you get a very expensive BP, doesn't happen often. relic sites at Grist space are really good, around 50 mil per site. btw, the way you scan is not very efficient. try to click on the anomaly to center it, then after putting the box on it, double click next to it to flip the map and then place the box again, then scan. moving the map all around when not centering the anomaly is less accurate. this way you can start with 8 or 4 and jump down by 2 each time. I'm not long in the game but all I do is exploring and it works well so far. as for the ship, I prefer the Astero with under 2 sec warp form stand. and if you want to play it safe then hacks only when no one else is in the system :) pays in there long run.

Remember in the drone regions some systems have lost their belts, so that is why you are seeing rats on certain gates. (Angel space is much worse in this regard though). Drone regions also only have data sites (no relics) to find the bpcs for integrated and augmented drones. The race of drone you get is dependent on the specific region you are in, too, but overall explo in the area is really not very rewarding other than this specialty drop.

To return from nullsec you can use border/internal+ glorification filaments. You can also warp cloaked, to not suffer from rats.

Interdiction Nullifier is a must - drop the AC

IF you can fit it I would swap that scanning script (mid slot) for a Cargo Scanner. It lets you check the contents of the containers you are going to hack to avoid wasting time on 1 carbon for example and lets you prioritize the highest value loot first.

Start bringing border filaments and a glorification for extra easy extraction when finished exploring

I would change the gun to an interdiction nullifier and the armour hardener to a warp core stabaliser

Pandemic normally wipes out all site except wormholes to get content. So be careful. Also he time to go there is during reset and after up to 1 hour. Have one of my toon there.
