Academy 1:400 Titanic Review

A general overview of some of Titanic's exterior features using a 1:400 scale model of the ship by Academy. I also discuss some corrections that can be made to this particular kit using an enhancement kit by Flyhawk.

WOW it looks so good. Great job man. I just started 1/350 Minicraft Titanic and also using some photo etch. I know it will not look as good as yours but i will do my best :) Again great job 👏👏👏

I know I’m late for asking questions given the fact this video was uploaded 4 months ago, but I do wanna ask, did you use a glass or reflective like material for the windows and sky domes? As I watch the video, the sky dome and windows seem to glare as you pan the camera around the model.

Hello! The windows were glazed over using Micro Kristal Klear. It’s designed to simulate glass and is very easy to use!

What colour did you use for the funnels and also u said the walls of the cargo holes where black is that the same for all cargo holes thanks

Hello! All of the cargo hatch walls were black and the tops were white. I used Tamiya TS-46 Light Sand spray paint for the funnels.
