No one even defines it the same way. In other words, there is not a single "destination point" of higher consciousness that people can reach; most traditions consider it an eternal process since no one can BE God. Because of the multiple vantage points, the original comment can have many different meanings or have no meaning.

When I listened to the part about being in nature...I was reminded of the years when we had an old boat. We lived close enough to the bay to take it out once a week or so and I remember, and always described to people a certain feeling that washed over my wife and I as soon as we left the dock....as we jogged the boat thru the no wake zone it was sort of a long doorway and when we hit the open water we literally felt the world melt away. Sitting there bobbing along with some fishing rods In the water, we had some of the best conversations ever....any trace of the day to day BS was gone. So....what Thoreau said.😁 Been thinking I’d like to get another boat.

Their inventions might then be more refined, and their gratifications might sound like good music: while at present they fill the world with their cries of distress, and consequently too often with the feeling of distress in the first place! They do not know what to make of themselves - and so they paint the misfortune of others on the wall; they always need others! Those who start off with a difficult life have more of an opportunity to evolve than those who have had it easy. It's not what life gives us that's important, it's what we do with it that makes a difference and shows who we are. The more struggle the more growth.

That's dumb. My life started out perfect because I was born in Heaven. When I came into this earth, I came into a totally abusive, dysfunctional family. IT DID NOT GIVE ME OPPORTUNITY: IT HELD ME BACK FOR A LONG, LONG TIME. What I have observed, though, that most people on this planet are IGNORANT and they condone violence with stupid faux philosophies such as what you just stated. And what is the result? A hell-planet about to be consumed by God's all-consuming fire. Which btw is DIVINE LOVE......evil cannot exist in His infinite divine love.

@@SoferiaNebruin only you hold yourself back. We come into physical existence to evolve our souls and apparently you needed those painful karmic lessons here on earth. 🤷 Your perception of reality has to do with your level of consciousness So if all you are seeing is negative maybe you need to work on some things. Only you have to live in that mind of yours. That is what manifests your reality.

@@SoferiaNebruin Same with my life, yet I find this comment to be true. Proof by contradiction.
@SoferiaNebruin
@SoferiaNebruin 4 жыл бұрын
@@alohi79 The only thing your comment proves is you are dumb wit who, like so many on this planet, suffer from cognitive dissonance. Also that you are evil. For as long as you JUSTIFY EVIL such as ABUSE, you are contributing more to it. You think like the masses, the SHEEP. and look at the sheep today and the condition of the world. You are in total denial. Until people CHANGE the world will continue its obvious downward spiral. The fact that you believe that simply by SAYING something is proof despite the volumes of evidence to the contrary, shows your lack of thinking, discerning, and reasoning ability. But no worries. You have lots of company as the world spirals into ever more hellish realms.

@@SoferiaNebruin I've taken a look at some of the comments that you've made on this channel. It seems like you are a very negative person who likes to attack others, that means you have not learned from anything you've gone through. You've become just as negative as the people that you claim are bad or evil. Belief systems such as your religious belief system are prisons of the mind making you think that there is someone that's going to save you when really that is your responsibility. I hope you choose to go within and start doing some inner work so that you can be a happier person otherwise you're going to spread your poison to everyone that you know and I hope that you're not a mother.

My obesity has just destroyed my back and my legs with chronic pain. I am not suffering due to the fact I focus on my tasks and not my pain. Suffering can wait for my shift to end.

@JeremyD I don't agree with this statement. Pain will always cling on to us throughout life in every area but suffering occurs when we don't agree with the pain that we must go through. I enjoy running but also hate it because of the pain I go through when I push myself. I allow myself to suffer to the thought of that pain. That suffering is created by me and pain which is inevitable sips away with the reward after running. I hope this makes sense and please point out if i said anything wrong or you disagree.
