When I listened to the part about being in nature...I was reminded of the years when we had an old boat. We lived close enough to the bay to take it out once a week or so and I remember, and always described to people a certain feeling that washed over my wife and I as soon as we left the dock....as we jogged the boat thru the no wake zone it was sort of a long doorway and when we hit the open water we literally felt the world melt away. Sitting there bobbing along with some fishing rods In the water, we had some of the best conversations ever....any trace of the day to day BS was gone. So....what Thoreau said.😁 Been thinking I’d like to get another boat.

You've become just as negative as the people that you claim are bad or evil. Belief systems such as your religious belief system are prisons of the mind making you think that there is someone that's going to save you when really that is your responsibility. I hope you choose to go within and start doing some inner work so that you can be a happier person otherwise you're going to spread your poison to everyone that you know and I hope that you're not a mother.

Pain is inevitable. Suffering is a choice.

@JeremyD LOL. That's right; you can't separate suffering from pain. People come up with the stupidest things.

My obesity has just destroyed my back and my legs with chronic pain. I am not suffering due to the fact I focus on my tasks and not my pain. Suffering can wait for my shift to end.

@JeremyD I don't agree with this statement. Pain will always cling on to us throughout life in every area but suffering occurs when we don't agree with the pain that we must go through. I enjoy running but also hate it because of the pain I go through when I push myself. I allow myself to suffer to the thought of that pain. That suffering is created by me and pain which is inevitable sips away with the reward after running. I hope this makes sense and please point out if i said anything wrong or you disagree.

@JeremyD suffering isn't negative or good. You choose it to be negative or positive. I love the pain during gym. It's a sign that im pushing and growing
