This is a proper game studio with set goals and standards. Nords took a while but it's worht the wait. I hope AC Evo is also as good as ACC.

I hope they keep support ACC with DLC. I love this game as it is different then the other with all class cars etc like GT7 etc. ACC focus only on GT2, GT3 and GT4

Last night I spent some time in practice mode honing my track competence rating. I was never *that* big of a Nordschleife fan, but this one is really beautiful and fun to drive, especially in VR. But I am really afraid my precious 99 SA rating will take some serious hits when racing this track in multiplayer. On the other hand: Who cares? Let's go! 🙂

Thanks for the video. I just did the latest update for ACC, but will get this new DLC in a few days. Whether this will be the last track or car DLC, it is hard to say what they have going in their development schedule. Be interested also in what Assetto Corsa 2 will bring to the table. since there is so much in mods for original AC game which turned the original game into a new game. And Mods for AC keep coming out everyday. I hope Assetto Corsa 2 provides Rolling Starts, all depends on what tracks, cars, and series they plan to provide. And hope it has more than just GT racing. I think ACC and LMU and this new RennSport games cover GT series racing pretty well now. Take care.

I've been obsessed with the Nordschleife since Gran Turismo 4, and I can say this is by far the best representation of the track so far. It's so detailed, and with what Mischa has said, it's the most up to date, even down to sections of pavement. I hope they port this track to ACE for day-one release because it's all I'll drive. I desperately want to take my Ferruccio 55 down this version of the track.

Looks cool. Though, it seems like the texture draw distance is too short. So, you get this weird progressive darkening of the trees as you drive along like at 5:09. Maybe it will get patched....

Yeah probably will be the last one but who knows tbh. This could be the year of just polishing the game for the final time. This is the most accurate nurb we have ever seen for sure. Cannot wait for ac2! Or ac evo. Still waiting to see if the evo announement of the name wss april fools or not lol Now people are worried its just a build on ac and straight new but we shall see. Im excited either way! I truely hope they dont try changing to much on feel.

When I started racing simulation games back in 1996 with F1racingsimulation, I was one of the first with a Force Feedback wheel. I was hooked, I could not imagine driving a sim without feeling something in the wheel. But most guys didn't like the FF wheels because it made them slower. Now I feel the same thing is happening with motion platforms. I have a DIY sfx-100 for a couple of years now and I can not image driving around in a sim without feeling the road and all the other effects in my chair. But it makes driving a much bigger challenge, sometimes I get so much effect through my seat that it impairs my vision. After 2 hours of driving I'm toast. Then I see channels like this one where the host drives around the Nordschleife motionless, one can have an espresso while driving. For me it even looks silly to see somebody wrestle the steering wheel while the rest of his body could be asleep. If your serious about sim racing, a motion platform is definitely the next step, once you drove around like that for a while, you can't imagine driving without.

Why do people think ACC Support will be gone? AC got even KTM added over a year after ACC launched, Plus ACC is advertisement for SRO Plus SRO uses it for official racing itself. I think ( and hope ) when ACE gets launches it won´t have GT3´s 4´s nor 2´s so we can enjoy close racing on LFM till ACE is feature complete

I really love this DLC, I think the vast majority of players have had in mind doing a lap around Nordschleife in ACC, and yes, could be a great great end content for the game, but if they want to make it better, please, make a free DLC with the Dacia, just for the people, everybody will love it. I couldn't imagine something better to polish it as a masterpiece in its own.

Single player is an absolute CPU killer though. Probably fine in multiplayer if there are no AI demands on the CPU, and indeed it runs fine in practice on my 9600kf, but you need a fairly chubby PC to run a big grid in single player. Can run 40 cars at any other circuit on the game at 100-120 FPS but unplayable here. Can't say I'm not disappointed - it's not Kunos' fault or anything. Not like my CPU is top of the line, although ACC is fine for me everywhere else. And maybe multiplayer is the big focus on ACC anyway so my issue is one for the minority? But single player works for me due to family commitments, and ACC is the only endurance sim apart from GTR2/PnG that lets you save mid session (I think?) only £10 so no big deal, but a bit crestfallen.

@@randomcallsign R3E? Studio 397 is Rfactor 2 and Le Mans Ultimate.. you should know that as a sim racing channel. And if you’re refering to older content, RF2 was first developed by ISI, later by Reiza. Since Studio 397 took over, nothing but amazing laser-scanned content. New Zandvoort, Oulton park, Le Mans, Brands Hatch, Daytona, Donington, Bahrain, Monza, Laguna Seca, and more like that. And even better in Le Mans Ultimate with every track being the best version of those tracks sim racing has seen so far.

Unfortunately kills my immersion in ACC, I agree. Hope Evoluzione will be better with the other engine. It's really bad at some tracks like Watkins or Barcelona, at Nordschleife all the trees magnify the issue, despite it looking great otherwise

It shouldn't be a UE4 specific issue. It's just a matter of setting up the correct shadow cascade distance. Any engine would be the same unless it raytraced shadows or VSM. UE4 isn't a good fit, the performance alone proves that, as well as all the issues with the anti aliasing softness, ghosting, etc. But this shouldn't be one of those issues

13 bucks, even if you only drive it for 6-12 months before switching to AC Evo. AC was getting new content years after ACC was released. You sound a bit hard to please. You'd prefer they don't release new games, or give their existing games new content? People spend thousands on sim racing, who cares about 13 bucks. You put 100 hours and it's great value.

People still play Assetto Corsa which Kunos stopped providing updates for years ago. Richard Burns Rally still has people still playing it. I was on PS4 until Christmas playing ACC (1.7.2) until then and Kunos stopped providing updates in May 2021. Personally I'm on PS5 and play Project Cars 1 and 2 as well as Dirty Rally 2. Just because a game isn't receiving any more updates doesn't make it stop working. Also, with LFM for PC players I'm expecting ACC will live on well after Kunos stop providing official updates. Still, your decision whether to buy or now based on your criteria of value. I will getting it once on PS5. May not play it very often but the experience is worth £10 to me.

My biggest problem with acc is the brake, I really don’t like the thing about “always” having to go full brake, it’s not like Iracing where you pretty much don’t do that…

ACC never feels connected to me & it's definitely not my wheelbase or the time I have spent setting it up. All other sims feel better. But I don't think it's garbage, I've still had a lot of fun driving it in the past.
