Can you not adjust the compression and rebound dampening to affect the cars ability to deal with the rougher corners and concrete? Cement is the white powdery stuff used to make concrete. For context, I've grown up playing racing games. Test Drive on a DOS computer was where I started. I played GT1-GT4 and then switched to FM for about a decade. That being said, the passion for cars is so evident in GT7, while the passion for money is so evident in FM. I switched to Forza for over a decade because the car sounds were way better and I liked it better than GT, but now GT7 smokes FM and it isn't even close. GT7 is not perfect by any means, but is way better than FM. I also see so much potential in FM, but Microsoft is way more concerned about money than giving people a solid game. It is sad to see the greed in these companies and how it is effecting these games.

I did simracing heavily from like 2015 to 2017. Back then I had a logitech g27 and i remember being so sad that for direct drive, you had to basically remortgage your home. It's so cool that beginner simracers now have genuinely affordable entry options into direct drive, even if they are low torque. So so cool. It's making me want to get back into it!

I want optimization, good VR and triples performance. And I would love "co-op" multiplayer where someone with a monitor or VR headset can sit in the passenger seat either on track or on rally roads. Co driver seems like a relatively easy feature to implement and would really take things to the next level. edit: and I want user controlled servers and similar ease of modding as AC. Sounds like they're trying to stifle what makes AC the best sim title. Open world is nice, but the whole "personal garage" thing is kind of lame. Would much prefer enabling modders and focusing on advancing what sims can do regarding realism and multiplayer. Compete with iRacing organization and Evo will be king.

I dont find it appropriate to mention functions of the wheel then telling people that it is licensed for xbox right away. When you cant use any of that functions due to limitations on xboxOS.

I’m new to iRacing, and it’s a sitting duck: 1. Ludicrous track and car prices 2. Looks and performs bad graphically 3. Physics lack fidelity: Not much pitch and lift feel 4. You have to spend money for a track radar 😂 5. There’s no modern day givens like sharing and downloading others setups and ghosts All my opinion and experiences. Hope it improves
