Dear Sir, thank you very much for this session. In my honest opinion, it is the best content on youtube regarding preparation for F3, an exam, which is overlooked by many, however for people new to accounting its quite horrifying. I personally had quite the stir in order to pass, however after few attempts I finally succeeded. I believe that actual exam is somewhat harder than this specimen, especially B section, which is crucial in order to pass. I suggest covering whole B section in ACCA business school question bank and going through all examiner reports. I wish, this channel also covered the F2 specimen exam with similar care and dedication. However I understand it costs lot of time. Anyway, I wish you only the best Sir lecturer!

exam is very similar to this one obviously questions will be different. I recommend purchasing the 3 specimen exam package from ACCA i used it one students they score very close to the score they get in specimen exam whenever your preparation is 100% use 1 exam see your score look at all the answers in report even the ones you answer correct then attempt second one and so one i recommend giving max one specimen exam per day don't rush it attempt it like would would a real exam

I have a question please 🙏 if they don't give us the purchases % for parent and we must calculate to find out the % for Non- controlling interest how we must calculate to find out the % for Parent and the % for NCI for consolidated financial statements?

if % purchased is not given total total shares purchased would be give for example if total shares purchased by parent is 60000 and total shares in subsidary is 100000 then it means parent purchased 60%

Hi can you explain why the 60k is not negative and why the others are positive Payables: $ Balance b/f 60,000 Cash paid to suppliers (302,800) Discounts received (2,960) Contra (2,000) Balance c/f (84,000) -------- Purchases 331,760

i tried to solve that way: 302800 - 60000 + 84000 = 326800. That gives us Purchases for the year before calculating contra and discounts. And the problem is here for me. What do we do with these contra and discounts. i know they should reduce Payables. But what about Purchase? i know should now add 2960 and 2000 but why? Do they include purchase? Please anyone?

Well screen is locked In exam so you can't use anything if you are giving home base exam. if you are giving center based exam you will be provide with sheets for working which is taken back at the end of exam.
