Lol because in his 18th year he’s a below average player he was good for a good few years but hasn’t been very relevant lately
@hunterfinger5 жыл бұрын
@@nathanielmanning1225 He put up 11 sacks 2 years ago. How is that not relevant? He didn't do a whole lot this year, but he's 4th all time in sacks. Had 2 years that he had less than 7 sacks. Peppers is one of the greatest to ever play DE. Period
@nathanielmanning12255 жыл бұрын
He’s an older generation player like you never hear Larry Fitzgerald anymore about being the best it’s just the way football goes he’ll always be associated with the Urlachers, Lewis, people of that football era instead of this one the game essentially moves away from them after so long unless you’re a qb
@nathanielmanning12255 жыл бұрын
Also he only had 159 sacks in 17 seasons that’s like 9 a season it’s consistent yeah but nothing too special

I am not a fan of UNC, but JP was by far one of the greatest collegiate and professional athlete. I honestly believe he has been over looked. I know he’ll make to the HOF. If he is not a first ballot HOF’er; then the system is wrong. He was amazing at both sports. Honestly, he could have started in UNC BB and the NBA. He is a champion and a great man. Thank you for your dedication to the sports and humanity.

Pep was the most dominant defensive player I’ve ever seen play college football. You had to double him and have a RB waiting to chip block, or your QB was gonna have a bad day. Then he went to the basketball court and played like Charles Barkley. He could have gone pro in basketball too, but he didn’t spend much time working on his game. He made the right choice tho
