I have a ‘22 Forester Sport and I’m still obsessed. I drove it from Vegas to Seattle and back and had my Bernese Mountain Dog and toddler and luggage and it was such a comfortable drive. It feels like a luxury car. I love that I still have manual controls. I just wish I had wireless CarPlay

They didn't provide a panoramic roof because people who buy these might want to do some camping or other outdoor stuff. That means you might need a roof rack. Hence no extended sunroof...which is perfectly fine. So in fact it is not a "miss".

I can't stand carmakers that try to make all their cars look the same, like BMW, Lexus, Mazda, etc. It's always fascinated me that Subaru make two similar - but different looking - cars like the Outback and Forester. I have an old 2006 Forester. It's done 350,000 kms, and is still going strong. I'll buy another one soon, and agree that the 2025 model is the most attractive Forester design Subaru have introduced for many years.

I am a big big fan of the CX 5 as well. But me wanting to own at least two vehicles in my garage, it's gonna be the CX 5 and this new Subaru Forester. And I prefer AWD and 4x4 vehicles, which are the perfect vehicles to use here in our province. Great review of this new Forester!

Got my 2025 Forester Sport 11/15. Wireless charging is almost useless. Rear view camera is very poor and not properly aligned. Rear seats will not go flat if front seats are set back.

I think we are all biased. I've owned 2 mazdas ( 2001 Mazda MPV, 2008 Mazda 3 hatchback). Both had reliability problems. both started rusting in the rear wheel wells. I feel that both had mediocre build quality and mediocre quality in terms of material quality. I own a 2011 Subaru Outback. Just bought a 2025 Forester Sport ( will give the 2011 to my daughter). The 2011 Outback was the opposite ownership experience from the Mazdas. This is why I bought another Subaru.

My new subaru forester gave me nothign but problems and was in the dealership shop all the time. Some things were not covered by teh Subaru extended warranty becuase they small and large brushings were not covered, even though I didn't do any off roading or fast driving over speed humps and potholes. Subaru has time obsolescence of their cheap parts. If you care about your money and time, do not buy a subaru.
