Volvo truly makes the most comfortable and supportive seats in the business. I rented one back in 2017 - went on a roadtrip with my parents. My mum has a bad back, and after 400 miles and 3hrs of driving nonstop, we all hopped out just as fresh as when we jumped in and most importantly, no back pains for mum! Great car.

I owned a V90 CC for three years and it's easily my favourite car. The decision making process was never really as complicated as it was made in this video. I saw it and I knew there was no other car for me. I think that's how most of us go for them. It is special, unique, practical. It also comes with remote heater, remote start, various apps you can download... Performance in snow is out of this world. Pilot assist worked really well on long EU trips. It is the last of its kind, unfortunately.

As far as I'm aware all new Volvo with the electronic shifter are now a one click/tap to get into gear. I think when you are tapping it twice and it doesn't work and think you need three is why....over tapping???? I'm not 100% sure but as I own a 2021 Volvo XC40 with the electronic shifter, it does require a double tap to select gears....but now the newest XC40's are advertising a single tap gear shifter as too many people complained.....personally I've never had mine fail or get confused and after a few days it became "natural" as with all new features....testing cars and owning are two different experiences. Also my door are quite heavy/stiff both front and back. I have to use the tip of my shoe down low to finish pushing the door open if hand/hands are full. I'm sure my neighbors laugh at me when I get home with take out....LOL Beautiful car and great review 👍🏼

@@fredericoamigo I was just at a Volvo dealer test driving a C40 recharge. Holy cow that thing is quick but it's 72/73k. Seems like it's on the high side imo. Same goes for the Polestar 2. Great looking car but once you get AWD and the options it's up there as well. They need to bring a detuned AWD around the 300hp mark. An Audi Q4 progressiv with 300hp is 65k and the ID4 AWD is 58k loaded. Even the Cadillac Lyric is 70k. The vehicle that really intrigues me now is the Fisker Ocean coming later this yr apparently. Re: Volvo turbo/super charger setup. It seems that this wasn't complicated enough so they added a PHEV setup T8 AWD.

We bought a 2020 V90 CC for our family (before they switched to the google headunit system), and honestly I'd never buy one again. I should have bought a VW Touareg instead. The volvo works 90% of the time, but the infotainment system has glitches, the automatic braking gets triggered by parked cars at the side of the road, the auto-high beams blind plenty of oncoming cars, the electrical systems are extremely difficult to work with if you want to add things like a trailer brake controller or driving lights, and there's no ability to change vehicle settings when you want to change tyre sizes for example. The seats are good but not great - they're on par with what I expect from the category. The right thigh bolster digs into my leg and makes it go numb after about an hour of driving, but aside from they're reasonable. The boot/trunk space is significantly smaller than the older XC70 too, but still pretty big. The car recently threw a "Service Transmission" warning when I drove up over a bump of grass that crossed the vehicle up - something that should be bread and butter for an mild off-road wagon. Only 300mm (12 inches) of wading depth is pretty poor too. Also, there's NO APPLE CAR PLAY in the newer cars. That alone would immediately stop me from buying a new one. A car in this price range should have wireless apple car play as standard. Why bother putting a wireless charger in the centre console otherwise?

This car is a real head-scratcher because it makes absolutely zero sense that Volvo makes it... What makes no sense is making this a non-plugin "mild hybrid" (B6) instead of making (solely) a PHEV (T8) version of the Cross Country wagon. The engine is needlessly (and worrisomely) complex with the supercharger + turbocharger, and Volvo has shown that it doesn't know how to make these engines smooth or fuel-efficient. There's no reason not to put a full PHEV "Extended Range" drivetrain into this V90 Cross Country wagon (which is a lot larger/longer than the 60-series Volvos being produced in T8 ER form now, so certainly has the space) and have that as the ONLY version of the Cross Country wagon now. I'm sure that 99% of people interested in this vehicle -- and who can afford to buy one -- have a home (most with garages) in which they can plug in every night. What on earth is Volvo (professed to be rapidly going electric) thinking???? And regarding the Google software interface, they really need to expand it to include more information in both the instrument panel and the infotainment screen, and make Google Maps much better (including 2-D, north-up options in the instrument panel, and adding a physical knob to zoom in and out of the map on the main screen). I sure wish that Volvo would change their portrait-style computer screen to a horizontal screen -- it's much better for use in cars.
