I just traded my Mercedes GLE 350 4matic for the Reserve 2 in red carpet with the hybrid CVT. I drove the new 450 Mercedes, the Lexus 350 H, and the BMW x5. If you want sport, buy the x5. The Lexus is smaller on all specs and has a 250hp engine. I found it loud and slow. The Mercedes 450 is not a hybrid, so you are still getting 19 a gallon around town. All cars use premium gas. I love this Lincoln. It has power 310HP with a hybrid. It is beautiful inside and out. All the tech stuff is included on the reserve 2 level trim. But wait, I am driving a Lincoln? What? It was not on my radar until I saw one and drove it. Best car I have ever owned. Also, when you need service or something done to the car, the dealer brings you a loaner, picks your car up, and delivers it back to you for 4 years or 50000 miles!

👍 I am a recent owner of a Mercedes GLE 350, and an Audi Q7 before that. Years back had a Lexus RX, fantastic vehicle, but passed on the latest version due to stale design. I’ve had the Lincoln Nautilus for a few months and am surprised at how it surpasses those very good vehicles. Have the hybrid version and am getting 34 mpg combined on regular gas, loads of power and library quiet ride. Big screen design is excellent, subtle, sleek and very useful. Yes, go ahead, cancel your Lexus! 😊

Anything you don’t like about it? Just curious
@voterdown2 ай бұрын
@@bvnger3099 yes, the vent controls being all/only controlled through touch screen is a very poor design, as well as a dangerous one. Instead of keeping one’s eyes on the road and reaching down for a familiar control button, the driver is required to look away from the road, touch the screen to then adjust the air flow….all while continuing to view the screen! Dumb. Except for this design flaw, the Nautilus is overall a great vehicle.

Ok, here are my thoughts having driven the Reserve III hybrid. First, this vehicle does not have enthusiast pretensions so throw that out right now. What the Nautilus does do is cosset you in refinement with a smooth, non fussy demeanor. Very supple ride and I disagree with Mike on the hybrid engine. Our test drive provided plenty of passing power with three people: me, my wife and the sales rep. No issues. This is not a BMW X5, but then again this is also not as expensive - although close (within $6-10k US). The seats and the stereo in the Reserve III are wonderful if that matters to you. The two tone paint comes with any Reserve, you do not need the black out package. I recommend someone test drive for themselves before coming to a KZbin inspired conclusion. This is not for everyone but for the right buyer a great vehicle.

The door handles are amazing. They're the same from the Continental. Apparently you've never seen that car or else you wouldn't have been so stunned by them. While the look of the rear wiper being tucked under the roof spoiler is more aestheticly pleasing, it's bad in use. The area of glass where it wipes makes it more difficult to see the road behind you. The lower corners don't get clean and therefore blocks your view of the road and cars right behind you.

They both have more than enough power. They really get up and go but the Lexus whined like a Toyota. I can't believe I'm saying this but although they're both nice, this is the nicer of those two vehicles. The interior door handles in the Lexus were awful. Lincoln blew the budget on huge screens and fancy lights, then had nothing left to spend on the engine. What a terrible decision.

A lincoln transmission cant make it past 100k miles. You better get 2 Lexus's. I owned the piece of trash. We had to replace the transmission twice on our MKC. It didnt make it past 94k miles. Its trash

Toyota over Ford any day. It will be in the shop for everything.

Cancel your Lexus; you’re right, I *would* prefer exorbitant maintenance cost over quality manufacturing/reliability. Great advice!
