🖐🥰 recently got a Lincoln Nautilus Premier II, (hybrid) for $61k. Had a Mercedes GLE 350 before that (good), and an Audi Q7 before that (good). The Nautilus was not originally on my list to consider but took it for a test drive after watching positive reviews. To my surprise, the Nautilus beats the other two vehicles by a lot. More comfort, loads of power and library quiet and smooth while driving. Never thought I’d be driving a Lincoln, but love it. 👍

i think it also looks more classy. Mercs look very gaudy now & Audis are bland. the center console in the Nauti makes me think of a cool 1950's-60's Lincoln that's been tastefully modernized (even though i hate all the screens & gadgetry in general)

@@chri5467 I agree about Lincoln being modernized and body has nice styling. Our Nautilus purchase was really for my wife who loves SUVs (me, not so much). I find SUVs are a great repackaging of vans, a brilliant marketing strategy, even though cars and SUVs look a lot alike these days, high and low end. . My preference is still a very old Mercedes I drive, no computers and I’m in control! Still, the Nautilsi is one of the nicest SUVs out there, in my opinion. 👍😌

You know... I really like this overall. If you don't want sportiness, this is comfortable, looks great inside, the sound system is perfect, the car is quiet and the "hyperscreen" is actually not a gimmick. I for one believe that the new Nautilus is a very attractive SUV. Lincoln is obviously going through a bit of a renaissance right now refreshing and redesigning their models like the Aviator and the all-new fifth-generation Navigator. I especially love their new exterior lighting design language which ironically started on the Zephyr which is sold only in China and is now making its way to the SUVs. This makes me wish Lincoln would make another attempt at the Continental and actually have it be its own thing as a flagship model of sorts akin to the Navigator but in sedan form. Maybe Lincoln could even create a program where customers can spec out their own bespoke Continental. It would make the most sense considering that Cadillac has the Celestiq and people will be able to option that car to their heart's content.

20? There are tons of bugs the day off the line your gonna have to put up with..heated seats are on but it says it's off, random little things they would irritate most. The more screens in a car the worse it will age. These cars are disposable and no one will buy them in 10 yrs on the used market..keep your older cars guys.

Not only that, but how long will those breaking parts be around in order to to be replacement parts? The heavy reliance on tech for no reason other than the sake of tech I presume could create a lot more waste for materials used than years past. Also, how many of the car's functions will be moot if/when the screen were to go out?

The reason for the larger back seat is that the new Nautilus was designed for the Chinese market who still value being driven and chauffeured around, so there is plenty of room for adults. The average Lincoln customer in the US only needs the back to occasionally drive their grandchildren around so they keep it simple.

Regarding the rear wiper, the overall image is cleaner with it at the top, but a clean horizontal line is needed at the bottom to be able to clearly see what is happening at the back of the vehicle. That is why not all manufacturers adopt this upper position for the wiper.

The design and functionality of the top screen is so nice, really great usage of modern technology. I wish they integrated the bottom, touch screen better. It honestly cheapens a fantastic interior, it should have been integrated into the dash instead of floating. Not that I would ever touch a $75K Lincoln but it would be a dealbreaker for me.

I can only think the reason the Park button is larger than the other gear select buttons is because in a previous generation of Lincolns, all of the buttons were the same size in a row and Park was right below the engine start button leading to people to press the wrong button. This forced Lincoln to change that design. I would prefer a more tactile apparatus like a lever.

You nailed the central issue. If you stripped away any signs that this was a Lincoln and asked people who they thought manufactured this car (you should mention its new model to offset any visual clues familiar with specific car companies), many answers would be Mercedes, Genesis, and maybe Range Rover. People are obsessed with badging, and Lincoln, like Buick and others, is a bit late in turning around its lackluster reputation.
